Thanks for breaking the news, only a year late wouldve been nice to see this for free when it first happened
Flotrack destroyed the sport.
don't give flotrack any money
Dude is large for a miler. His heart must be huge pumping all that blood around in a big fast hurry.
Tall runners have an advantage at middle distance to some degree. They have longer legs and a faster kick at the end. Shorter ones have more endurance.
Avril Lavigne well he’s not tall at 5’8” but he’s about 150 lbs which is kinda heavy for a runner
If you're 5'10", 150 isn't heavy for a runner. That's in the ideal range for that height. I don't understand what you mean. How tall is he?
Like if he was 5'7" or 5'8", ideal may be 130-140.
@@bryantmoreland2549 Where did you get that height and weight? When I Google, I see a 36-year-old Australian surfer name Josh Kerr who's 5'8", 154 lbs, but that's not the runner Josh Kerr. Craig Engels is 6' (according to this interview: www.runnersworld.com/news/a20856344/who-was-that-college-runner-with-the-magnificent-mullet/), and it looks like Kerr is about the same height in the video (see 3:30 or 5:41).
now that's a race, putting all of their training into the race. Couldn't be happier.
I saw this live. What a great race.
What a tank, British and Scottish athletics banging right now
JOSH KERR IS FOR REAL
bravo a tous
Amazin'!
This is from 2017.
Description
instant classic!
Dude not even out of breath 😳
I swear this guy is British. Recognise the name. 5:37 "f*ck yeah!"
Steve Cram like wind up to the finish with 400 to go
when their 800 split is 40 seconds better than your best 800m
Is that Randy Marsh commentating?
I can run a 3:35 800 meters lol. These guys would lap me after the 1st lap.
Jordan Shaw Same
Jordan Shaw why so slow?
Me too . This is embarrassing . And here I was thinking that I'm doing well .
How old are you? That’s a little absurd
I mean, half the American population propbably can't run a mile under like 8:30. So thats not very absurd. Probably actually slightly above average.
That’s how long it takes for me to run half a mile...
It takes u almost 4 mins to run 800m?
Sorry...it takes u 3.5 mins to run 800m?
@@greggarey4811 that means he runs a 7 minute mile, its different from just a 800
Wow Josh Kerr doesn’t even have cuts
Austin Tamagno runs a 4:01 mile in HS and barely improving in college. Wish all the HS studs we are producing actually amount to something in college or pros.
Sid Murthy At that level and that speed, it is harder to improve.
Too bad he'll likely compete for Britain after he's done with NCAA
Kerr didn’t even run in high school
Some people are naturally born with a talent, I never did track and field yet I made it to my college track and field team, my coach asked me what high school I run for and I told him I never did that I started running just to get in shape for soccer season during summer and end up liking it and he though I was lying cause I did pretty well against people who he had last year and that came recommended by someone or that did track in high school. My father is also a runner and he was the one who recommend me to run to increase my stamina in soccer, maybe is genetic too. I no longer play soccer competitive maybe for fun with friends but I’m more dedicated to running now.
yes he did lol
First
Hicham el guerrouj ran 3:28 for his 1500m split during his world record mile this race is nothing compared to that
Anthony Orduno good job for making the obvious comparison that the top world standard is indeed better than the no 6 1500 time from the NCAA
So you're saying the best time ever ran was faster than this time? YOU DON'T SAY
Good grief !!!!!!!!!
No, he's pointing out the WR holder for the 1600, ran 3:28 for the 1500 split of it, which is fair since he's running further, if only 100m. No clue why it's a big deal to call him out.
difference is Kerr is on the juice and El G was not
