Can confirm all that as I have also installed boosterplug on my duke 390 and much better after... I can in the morning start the bike and after 1min or so can drive it without any issues before to jerky!

Hi simon,l fitted a booster plug to my 1996 bmw r1100rs afer watching your video on fitting it to your GS.I have to say my bike now runs alot smoother and has better acceralation.It also idles better,and would say mpg is slighty better.Love watching your videos,please keep up the good work

I had a F750GS for three years it was euro 4 and riding in anything but dynamic was hopeless with the bike almost stalling in traffic then jumping forward. I bought a new one last year euro 5, thought it’d be the same but was amazed to find it completely changed with near perfect fuelling in every mode.

I used the Australian fuel dongle expensive but it does work well same idea more fuel at lower rev range smoother acceleration and less jerky on the trails .

That booster plug sounds like a great solution however it’s not compatible with anything from 2021 onwards which is a shame and there’s no alternative offered on the website.

I have been seriously thinking about one of these for awhile now for my 2014 R1200GS. BUT I have read so many negative things about them, mainly that the ECU will eventually learn what the Booster Plug is doing, and will go back to how is was before fitting. Have you found this?
Hey up lordgrevous1970, I have one on my GS 1200, I don't think the ECU knows it's there I believe you get used to it being there and used to the thing it does, the ECU isn't AI, the booster plug will always tell the ECU it's colder so it will put more fuel 🤔, why not buy one and try it, report back with an update 👍, thanks for watching and dropping a comment, much appreciated ride safe, Simon B

I put one on my 2008 GSA and it transformed the throttle response and improved the economy significantly. But only for a while as if the ECU learned and reset itself. Is yours holding up?I have a 2023 701 with said jerky low end and tempted to try it.

@@SIMONB1 I did wonder if it was just me but when I took it off it didn’t seem to make a difference. Then I ride a 1200 LC and it was chalk and cheese. The GSA was traded in.

Hi Simon, maybe , I can see how it would improve low & mid range but they claim that at a constant speed it reverts back to the standard fuel ratio for fuel economy . I'm unsure as to how it can do this as it only air temperature and doesn't reference engine speed.
I don't see anything for a KTM 690 or Husky Vit/Svart 702 on the linked web page.
