Whats the mt like for passengers do you have any experience with taking a pillion? interested in the bike just didnt know if it would be big enough?
I take my missus on the back of my MT07, no problems whatsoever. It's a fantastic bike, especially with the akrapovic, it's a must.

Honestly - as good as they are, I just don't think they have that certain bass-heavy rumble that a twin does. And I'm not just talking about v-twins either. Even parallels like the MT07 have it.
bobbydj01 the mt07 has a 270degree crank so it's firing like a 90degree V twin. (360-270=90). hence it sounds no different to a 90degree V twin. listen to a ninja 650 which has a 180 degree crank with an exhaust. it sounds nothing like this, with a piston firing every 180 degrees. even pulses. where as the fz07 and any other 90degree twin have the 2 pulses firing at different intervals.

Unbelievable sound! Did you get a remap afterwards or is it fine running the stock tune with the new exhaust? I saw on Akra's site they say it doesn't require a tune but perhaps they mean with the Db killer and Cat installed.

Sounds amazing! Brought back instant memory's of picking my MT07 up! Such a great sounding exhaust. I take it you had baffle out? I had to put mine back in as my ears couldn't take it everyday lol but I had it cut down a bit so had best of both worlds.

I just got the Akra Carbon instead of Ti since the Carb already loud with the baffle and dont wanna upset the neighbors. Ti is loud only if u put out the baffle so.. i have the ejk before having the Akra , I ran around for a week without putting the settings needed for the new exhaust, dfntly it runs a bit smoother with the ejk.. less (close to rare) popping too
Really opens up the sound of the beast, nice one.

Pick my MT07 up next week with many mods but undecided on exhaust. I don't want to be deafened or be to noisy for pedestrians but deco need to change exhaust. First thought is Akrapovic titanium??

Beautiful, completely transforms the bike. MT07 deffo my dream (affordable bike). currently on my duke on a CBT. How quickly have you adjusted to the power and weight of this coming from your yzf? I am wandering whether I should get a 300cc bike (R3) before the jump to a 600 to adjust.
I upgraded from a Yamaha YZF-R125 to an MT-07 like Ryan. I've been riding it for about 3 weeks now and I'm still adjusting. It power wheelies through first and second so you have to be really careful at first

Does the exhaust change in colour over time? meaning the pipe because its titanium.
The headers will turn color (blue if running lean, brown over time if normal, the richer fueling the darker) just like the stock because they are actually stainless steel and not titanium. Only the muffler portion is titanium.

Sounds awesome, I am looking to get the same exhaust and was just wondering if with this one did you have to get a power commander as well or anything like that? Also fun fact i sat on your bike when it was outside the dealership not realising it had been sold haha, it was your dad who came to me when and said it was sold XD I was surprised when i saw your collection video and i'm stood outside with my dad and brother. I got my MT-07 a week later :D

A2 test but to get this bike youll have to get a restrictor kit
False neutrals are common with this bike, I speak from experience. You'll get used to it. Great exhaust. And once you're used to it you will be able to beat a GS off the line!
