It’s insane how consistent Gibbs has been over the past decade; everything from ESGN and Fetti to Piñata and Bandana. And now Alfredo? This man is easily one of the best in the game!

Freddie gibbs has quickly become my favorite hip hop artist, I'm bummed that I've missed out for so long but it's also nice to have all this new music to listen to. Freddie deserves to be crowned the king of the rap game by everyone, one of the hardest working in it and super diverse then you throw in working with legends like madlib and alchemist GAT DAMN! I love these whole album collabs with producers, hope to see it more from other artists

I've been e a fan since '09
As an older fan of hip hop in my 40's I was happy to have mistakenly come across Freddie here on CZcams early last year. Before that I had no idea who he was. He has that old skool vibe, dope beats, and he's hilarious. He also got me listening to Rick Ross more after hearing the collabs that they did together.
Ever since DOOM has passed Gibbs is definitely my favorite rapper alive
Saw him open up at house of blues in Chicago in 2013, been a fan ever since. Dude has yet to put out a project with a bad song on it. Piñata is def my top 5 hip hop album of all time.
This was a dope piece. I half expected some “Before they were famous”-type BS but this was quality. Well done, now I can do my hmwk and find the tunes I haven’t heard.

I feel as if, amongst purists, Gibbs is widely regarded as the best in the game at the moment.
Not really. If you dig a bit deeper, you find the likes of Roc Marci, Ka, Conway (now also more mainstream) and Mach Hommy killing it on a whole other level. Mach Hommy for example has rhyme patterns and syncopation that is beyond any other rapper atm.
But to each his own though. But saying shit like 'he's the best' and 'among purists' well...i needed to deflate that.

Gibbs is my favourite rapper of all time, period. He inspired me to start rapping again. I was listening to him back in 2010 before he started to gain attention with Jeezy, Madlib and now Alchemist. Go and check out his early mixtapes, incredible stuff. Thank you for making this video ConorOG, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Credit to you for putting this together. I’ve been listening to Freddie for a minute but a lot of this I didn’t know about, it’s really well done. Tough to beat the Madlib collabs but something about the Fetti and Alfredo records with Alchemist just hits different - they are the two I go back to more than any of the others at the moment

Ngl I first heard of Freddie Gibbs on gta v back when it came out. Song was called still Livin I think. I was about 15 and I listened to a bit of Piñata and You Only Live 2wice and bandana but as of the last few months I've been getting into him alot more and I'm glad !
