I just bought one. No doubt the best looking American car ever made and the most stylish of any car. Lincolns have the smoothest ride but i take the stellar show stopper XTS ANY DAY!

Terrific video. I've got the first year of the XTS VSport, a 2014 Platinum model. I still get excited anticipating driving this car. It is nothing short of phenomenal. The interior is just gorgeous with nary a piece of plastic to be found. The 410 HP V6 is so quiet and scary fast! Car has been super reliable - and I live on a dirt road in rural Vermont. For the first time in my car loving life, I cannot think of an upgrade when this is worn out. Guess I'll get another one!

You did a pretty good job reviewing the redesigned 2018 Cadillac XTS, but when you reviewed the trunk area, you stated that you could only open the trunk with the remote, not true Cadillac cleverly hid the trunk switch, integrating it into the crest emblem on the trunk. Press the emblem, once you have unlocked all doors, and the trunk opens.

Cool video, if Cadillac got rid of that funky lil chrome chip in front of the front doors, and make that chrome over the doors one piece. This car is great but just those chrome pieces break up the sleek look and also when they get misaligned it makes a car look cheap..

N&T Auto Reviews That's just ashame, not quite sure why they decide to do that. I mean, for the amount of money you are paying for that vehicle, that should be a standard feature, no question what so ever. Same goes for a lot of modern day cars, Cadillac is certainly not the only one to lack in this category. It may seem like something that doesn't matter to most, but at least for me, it really does affect the overall design and appearance that gets displayed, and not in a good way. This choice is one that I have yet to understand.

This is a beautiful car but $74 thousand dollars is way to much for any car or truck. My grandmother had a '72 Fleetwood Brougham, now that was a luxurious car, it puts any luxury car of today to shame. If I was to spend $74 on a car, it better have a smooth and quiet ride, i don't want to feel a bump or crack in the road nor do I want to hear road noise from the low profile tires. Also, there should be a way to disable the Stop/Start system.

+Edward Gamble The trunk opens all the way for you, all you need to do is close it.

the point that I was making is that luxury cars in that price range usually have a power opening and closing trunk lid and sometimes. even include a foot kicking motion to open the trunk if your hands have are carrying to many items like GROCERIES!!

1/14/18, Overpriced Cadoo....I had a 2002 DTS, new, $57k w/tx/det. For $75k you'd think they'd give you a full-size spare. Oh yeah, get an hydraulic jack instead of that cheap thing that comes w/the car. $22. in K-Mart 16 years ago. Still works. Better yet: get smart, save some (lots of) money, I now have a Ford.

Meh. I have 13 XTS platinum and literally almost nothing is different than this other than touch ups. I think tag price for these models are not bad but boy, try to sell them. You will be given no more than 30 grand max.

rubiks15 This is just as reliable as any Lexus, build quality in this XTS is just as superb, except for it looks better and drives better than any Lexus of this size or similar dimensions. You live and learn.
