My kids bought me one three years ago. It cost about £80. I really liked it when it worked, but the battery failed after less than three years and when I made an enquiry to Black and Decker a new battery was over £130 plus postage. I won't be buying a battery and I won't buy anything Black and Decker if that is their attitude. Meanwhile the Dustbuster Flexi now runs for about a minute before it does. Shame really as I liked it when it worked
Most B & D products I have bought have failed within a relatively short time and like the writer below, B&D aren't worth contacting because replacements are so expensive and their products head rapidly to the dump.
