Buddy of mine has the same safe that I picked up. His keypad stopped working or something and he paid a locksmith to drill it out. Now he has no way to lock the safe. We are going to order one and replace it on his too.

Safes can be more than twice as strong when there's more steel added around the housing of the safes bolt where the bolts protrude from, because it will highly defeat pry bar attacks. Thicker steel material around the bolts equals more peace of mind for safe owners.

Wayne, great how to vids! I'm exchanging a Cannon electronic lock set for a Mechanical set. The electronic keypad won't come off as in vid. It rotates very slightly even when driving it with screwdriver/hammer from the battery access opening. It acts as if there's screws under the keypad, holding the pad on. Removed the lock and no screws can be seen from under the lock. Can't pry the keypad away from the door either. Before I get medieval, I thought I would ask. Any ideas would be awesome! All the dial's are the same?
Probably all made in china,.....Alibaba sells S&G and Le Gard and copies in many other names Lexan,...ect very cheap,.... so buy them wholesale not 5 times retail.
I just bought a 6730-100 on ebay,......it had a receipt from Amazon in the box.
On Amazon its $89.00 and on ebay it's $109.00 ish~
I would have bought it on Amazon but I couldn't get in my account.
But I bought the lock for the key,.... to change the combination on one of my safe's.
But the 6730 will replace a digital lock.
Yes digitals are so cool,... but if some one wants to screw you all they have to do is cut the wire.
No key on the 6730,.... so they can't plug the key hole.
