Lonesome Fiddle Blues - simple performance

Here's a simple version of a classic bluegrass tune called "Lonesome Fiddle Blues". This tune was created by one of my favorite fiddlers, Vassar Clements.
I played it on "The Fiddle That Michael Gave Away" which was handmade by a FiddleHed subscriber. We're giving it away in a contest. Enter here: fiddlehed.co/W...
The A part of the tune is in D minor, the B part is in G major (mostly - it gets a little weird at the end when it goes to A major). I generally like to play tunes slower like this...mainly because it feels right. The faster it goes, the less the melody stands out.
Backing track was created with an app called Strum Machine that I've been fiddling with.

Strum Machine is fabulous! What you hear on this video are the backup instruments on the app. You can have Guitar, Bass and Mandolin as back up or only one or two of your choice or none at all. You can change keys, change tempo. My favorite go-to for metronome or basic chord letter visual on the fly. You can even create your own songs or practice pieces.

It sounds better without the guitar strumming imo. I prefer your videos when it's just the man and his fiddle.
