Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment on one of my videos.
Missing the "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi"... in my opinion, a great movie!!! 😉😉😉
Is 13 hours on Netflix?
Not a war movie
@@jamesedwards6553... Yes it is!!
@@legitcolonel... If it not, what's a war movie for you? 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Even the name of the movie... Soldiers? Benghazi?? 🤷🤷
itd good because its not netflix production
For Me
1-All Quiet On Western Front
2-The Bombardment
3-The Forgotten Battle
4-13 Hour's Of Bengazi
5-Unbroken
Black Hawk Down
@@Cucumber_Iseeyou Fury is a great movie.
@@Cucumber_Iseeyou noooob
All quiet on the western front was something else.
I suggest u lone Survivor
"Mosul" indeed is an amazing war movie based on the true event, from a different perspective: Iraqi soldiers (specialized unit) fighting for their homeland.
"The Outpost" is a great fact-based movie revealing the costly mistakes made by arrogant, high-ranking officers in command.
Black Hawk Down & 13 Hours: Soldiers of Benghazi… although they may not be on Netflix… They’re really good films
My pick
All Quiet on Western front - Best
The Forgotten Battle - Second
Both were mind blowing masterpiece 🔥👏
5.Mosul
4.Outpost
3.Danger Close
2.The forgoten battle
1. The siege of jadotville
Thank you
Solid ass list
hacksaw ridge , thank me later
Thanks for the suggestions. I watched The Forgotten Battle today after watching this video and it was fantastic. A few continuity errors, but great story. Watching All Quiet on the Western Front now.
"The Forgotten Battle" was an exceptional film, very powerful, very intense, and one of the better war films I have seen in years. I have not seen any of the others, but plan on watching Mosul and The Outpost. Conspicuously absent from the list is one of the best war films I've ever seen, "All Quiet on the Western Front". That film is certainly a worthy nominee for an Academy Award, and has a very strong chance of winning Best Foreign Film.
If forgotten battle is good to u then the outpost and Mosul will blow u away lol.
Spot on. Well produced and stories from all participants in the battle. Surprised it didn't get a wider release.
True that I just finished watching Forgotten Battle , Mind blowing movie 🔥🔥
@@ankitjain1612 Yes it is. I have since watched "Mosul" and it is very good as well.
@@godsm3dic577 outpost garbage movie
I liked The Bombardment too. Company of Heroes was entertaining but reminded me of an old Martial Arts movies, when the bad guys are consumable items and conveniently charge one at time to be despatched in a spray of blood. Oh and Chad Michael Collins plays the same role as in the Sniper movies, albeit in a WW2 setting. Funny because Dennis Haysbert plays the same role in the Sniper movie as in The Unit. Is there a shortage of actors that can play soldiers?
The bombardment was an incredible movie/story that was also tragic
All time best ones are
1- Saving private ryan
2- Black hawk down
3- Tears of the sun
4- Behind enemy lines
5- Enemy at the gates
6- The eight hundred ( chinese )
7- Lone survivor
8- Hacksaw ridge
9- Fury
10- Inglorious bastards
my grandfather was one of the real life soldier during the events of siege of Jadotville he was 19
Great respect for your grandfather shame on the Irish government of the time
Your channel is a good idea. We DO scroll thru Netflix (or whatever channel) wondering what's good. Of course, taste is very personal, so summarising viewer comments is good. A suggestion - don't let the comments be so big as to block out the movie scenes!!
Mosul was excellent, Danger Close amazing to watch and one of the best Vietnam war films. The Outpost, intense and worth watching, the Forgotten Battle is I agree much better than Dunkirk, Siege of Jadoville is a must see. Great choices!
The Women Of War
A Call To Spy
Two Great War shows well worth watching.
Bombardment
All Quiet on the Western Front
Narvik
Rouge Heroes (TV Show)
The Forgotten Battle
Munich - The Edge of War
Netflix has some good ones right now but that’s all I could think of off the top of my head
Glad I could add a couple more to the watchlist
Thank you.I always have problems searching for movies..Now I have a list of 5 movies.🙂
I haven't seen any of those but plan to start watching this weekend. Thanks for another great batch of must-see movies!
Black hawk down will always be at my top 5 military action, though not really a war movie.
agree. I've watched it more than 15+ times....
Was truly a street fight
I've watched it about 5 times and it's so good I'm seriously considering watching it again.
Mine too
Danger Close mirrored the events outlined in the book BLACKJACK 34 previously titled No Greater Love by James Donahue. They ( 12 Special Forces and 160 Cambodian's) were looking for the NVA and found a Regiment . Another movie that's worth watching is "The Wall". Totally different from any made so far............................ enjoy
was this the story covered on one of Jocko's podcast's with one of the former Heli pilots? I forget which one but it sounds very similar to something like this.
Danger close is a dramatisation of the ACTUAL Battle of Long Tan - fought by Australians. Its timeline and main events are accurate but there are some liberties taken and some inaccuracies - ie. the final pistol fight simply didn't happen - in reality it was all over when the APC's finally got to the plantation, and during the actual fight in the plantation, Aussie troops were spread out a LOT more than shown in the film (was a critical reason the VC/NVA weren't able to defeat them). There are several books about the Battle of Long Tan but IMO the best is written by Lex McAulay. In Australia Vietnam Veterans' Day is also called Long Tan Day.
I have watched all of these movies, and I liked them all. Mosul was a surprise, but fantastic.
(All quiet on the western front)
This one is such a great film it truly gave the feeling to bat the soldiers had to go through in WW1
Great one 💫🔥🔥
I'd change The Outpost for All Quiet on the Western Front and give honnorable mentions to The Outpost, War Machine, Sand Castle, The Hurt Locker and Beats of No Nation. A Top 10 is very possible.
Best in Hell (PMC Wagner Films).
thankssss, i missed a lot of epic war movies recently, please do more recommendations for action hacking war crime movies, and from across country also, keep it up!!!
"12 Strong" is missing. One of the best movie I've watched on Netflix
The newest “The Covenant” is also a great movie, really recommend
Its extremely good!
Had watched it 3 days ago
Honestly one of the best movies I have ever seen especially in the action Category.
Guy Ritchie - The Covenant & kandahar
I wach😂 4 more times
Your pick is solid. But IMO they're not even on the same level as "All Quiet on the Western Front", "Saving Private Ryan", "Letters from Iwo Jima" and a few others.
My Most Favourite War Films :
1. FURY
2. 1917
3. DUNKIRK
4. SCHINDLER'S LIST
5. SAVING PRIVATE RYAN
All non original Netflix
Fury is so good
@@erriwibowo it says "on Netflix" not by Netflix
Enemy next to the door
Fury is probably one of my favorites as well
Fury is a masterpiece,those detailing,those fights a true masterpiece
Please include All Quiet on the Western Front. Just watched and probably my favorite on Netflix. Beautiful filmed and shows the damage of useless warfare.
Watched all of these months ago great films , great pick 👌
Thanks for the video and the info I'll check out the films I was unaware off. Small piece of constructive criticism, obstructing the scenes I'm trying to watch by plastering the viewer messages all over them was irritating, you we're quoting these messages anyway so we didn't need them ruining segments of the films. I've subbed and given a 'thumbs up'.
Thanks for the comment and the sub. Was trying something new but think I'll make the comments much smaller or shorter in future vids. Appreciate the feedback. 👍
Watched Mosul the other day. Very intense and I genuinely felt shattered after watching it. Can’t believe I haven’t heard more about this film.
Watched Mosul and it is excellent! Funny thing is I have watched them all and you are right about all of them well worth a atch.
Subscribed! Thank you brother!
The Forgotten Battle was good but it annoyed me as the British soldiers wore Dutch Army helmets rather than the ubiquitous Tommy helmets. Being a Dutch movie, they couldn't be bothered to source the British helmets....Luckily they got the German Stalhhelm correct. Imagine if they only had Mark 1s with the spike.
The "Turtle" helmets issued to the Canadians during the battle of the Walcheren Causeway were different from the British "Tommy" helmet.
5. Mosul
4. The Outpost
3. Danger Close
2. The Forgotten Battle
1. The Siege of Jadotville
I love war movies and waiting for this kind of video,!!!
Really Thanks man
Battle of Narvik was excellent too 👌
wish i could get the siege of jadotville on dvd so i can let my family see it and i can have it when it is taken off netflix.
my favorite is hacksaw ridge!
Great list!
I can read sub-titles in my sleep...😅
Honestly the best war film Ive seen since fair game all them the convent and Mosul best films of war of seen in a long long time zero dark thirty was the one that I was like wow whe came of lone survivor fair game all them just awesome both film ❤
Some of these are region based on netflix, basically some are no longer available in the US. The Outpost, Danger Close.
'Outpost' is really an awesome movie ever I saw.
you forget about ( 1917, All Quiet on the western front, the wall, and Hacksaw Ridge)
Good list! Thank you!
Just watched Danger Close, it was a good and touching movie! Thanks for the recommendation!!
I think the, 1917 is a masterpiece, it is an aesthetic, it embodies true craftsmanship, it is a work of art, a true gift to cinema, from how it was shot, by the best Roger Deakins, to our great Sam Mendes...I mean The Forgotten Battle is a very good movie , however, it feels like a Dutch version of Dunkirk, in which Christopher Nolan had done an extraordinary amazing...even though we can see homage paid to Dunkirk and 1917 in The Forgotten Battle, Matthijs van Heijningen has outdone himself I enjoyed the film ! I don't thinkit's better than 1917, maybe on par with Dunkirk.
2:00 Battle of Long Tan or the Battle of Khe Sanh? (I'm Vietnamese)
Love this list but what about "All quiet on the western front"
They forgot ALL QUIET IN WESTERN FRONT. We can understand how the soldiers suffer mentaly and physically during the war. And also it shows how those mad leaders enjoy in their comfort zone, while sending those poor men into hell
Not sure how they missed All Quiet, phenomenal movie and greatly deserving of all the honours it has received, apart from that I've seen the top 3 and appreciated learning about events not involving US and British forces
I just saw the movie and it was excellent. Hoping to see some more like that
i am pretty sure this is a list of less famous and obvious war movies
Excellent WW1 movie as a standalone, pretty shit adaption of the book though
Outpost movie shows exactly what happens or what happened in the war zone. I think it was under rated. If you're a fan of war movies don't miss this out.
I have seen that. Its good
do you know in what regions it is avaliable?
thank you so much i love this best list movie
I thought Mosul would be terrible. It’s now my favorite movie in over a decade.
I just can’t agree with this list line survivor and American sniper are 2 of the best modern war movies I’ve ever seen
Danger close !!!! This was amazing !!!!
I feel like unbroken, hacksaw ridge, the last full measure and 13 hrs should have made this list
A brilliant 5 . Can’t argue 👌👌🇮🇪
Black crab is a great movie i love the gritty tone and cold winter apocalypse

How is We Were Soldiers or 13 Hours Bengazi not on this list.
Black Hawk Down is my Number ONE...
All quiet on western front is the best
coming from a war veteran and war movie junkie I say........Mosul #1. U can never have a better mission than what these guys had.
Nice
