Thanks to all of you who have said so many nice things congratulating me on the birth of my son. I wasn’t expecting that and it means a lot. You guys are awesome!
Congratulations! Now you’ve got a little buddy to teach all kinds of stuff…he’s gonna have a killer tool box one day, no doubt about that! My old man is luckily still kicking, but I know I will cherish his tools one day when he is gone. I can’t believe how many people sell off things their parents left them for peanuts. Not my father’s tools.
I know. I almost feel bad sometimes buying tools for next to nothing that I know somebody valued greatly for a lifetime. At least I put them to good use though. Thanks a lot man. I really appreciate the kind words.
@@realworldtoolreviews Once they've been put on the market, you're just rescuing them at that point. God only knows where they may end up otherwise. I know people fall on hard times and can't keep *everything* their parents owned, but some things--like tools--are fairly timeless and universally useful. Or at least one would think so. These days, many people probably don't even know what they are 😆🤷♀
Congratulations!!! Hope you the best. Hope you and your son have the same love for tools like you do. Your son will pass those tools to his children. Congratulations again.
Just the first 5 days have been long and fast at the same time. I couldn’t be happier though. Words really can’t describe it. I really appreciate the kind words. Thank you!
Congratulations to you and your Wife on the birth of your Son. Watch over Him and one day he will do the same for you! I have all my Dad's tools and cherish them everyday, will never get rid of any of them , I will pass them down to my Boys.
Hey man… congrats on having your son! Been a minute since I’ve been watching your videos but they are always great. I’ve commented before bout having a craftsman collection. Man has it grown since I last commented. Went to my grandmas and hit the mother load of stuff and while I was up there went and saw an ad for a craftsman 3/4 drive socket set. Snagged it for 60 bucks!!! Been killing it! It was your videos that got me into collecting craftsman and anytime I’m in the shop I always throw on your videos while I clean and organize stuff. Thanks for all the time you put into your videos!
Thanks a lot man. I really appreciate those kind words. That’s awesome man! I’ve been looking for a good deal on a 3/4 drive set for a while now. 60 bucks is a great price for a Craftsman 3/4 set. I’m so glad that you are enjoying the videos and building your collection. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on the birth of your son man. Buying a snap on screwdriver set is a great way to celebrate his birth, especially since he’ll get them someday.
Great tools to leave for the youngin'. Cheers, brother. Today is a good day! I just bought yet another 3/4 raised panel Craftsman at a pawn shop for $2. Didn't need it, but for $2 I can find someone that does.
Congrats on the boy! You should look into getting some of those Amazon affiliate links for whatever tools you feature in a video and start making some side-money; kids aint cheap and nothing is getting cheaper lol. Love the content.
Good call on the Snap-On screwdrivers. I got some of the new Channellock ones that just came out and honestly maybe it's because I'm comparing them to the last gen acetate handles ones but... They're just eh to me. Theyll probably work just fine and all that, US-made, they just don't hit the right spots to me though. As for what I'm passing down.... Listen brother one thing at a time here, right now the thought of getting rid of tools in any way got me going NOOOOO😂 but it'll happen, I already put my toes in the water before giving my neighbor my old pry bars when I got some Wilde and giving them a breaker bar when I got my big mama Wright one. I think the route I might go is build a separate starter kit of some Wright and Channellock.
Yea it’s hard to to imagine parting with your favorite tools 😂 I can’t wait to set him up with his first tool bag though when he gets older. I haven’t seen the new channel lock screwdrivers. I did like the blue and clear acetate handle ones they had. That bottle opener I use is like that.
@@realworldtoolreviews I think those clear and blue ones were Pratt and Read which got shut down. I was fortunate to get the ones I did, some of the last of the bunch. I think the new ones are made by Mayhew since they just came out with some that look nearly identical. The handle shape just doesn't do it for me.
Yea, if I were to get the instinct, it would be the hard grip version, but the classic square hard handle is just my favorite. That’s awesome man. I can’t wait to set up my son’s first tool bag.

My favorite video on my top 3 favorite channels. Congrats on the baby boy!
Congratulations man! He's gonna inherit some good tools if he chooses to go into the trades or do any type of handwork. Congrats again!!
Yes he will. Thanks a lot man! Really appreciate all the kind words from everybody.

A good wholesome video.
This is what life's about. Handing down knowledge and the tools to handle that knowledge to our next of kin.

Thanks Jack. I can’t wait to set up his first tool bag. I hope you are right about him keeping them and passing them on to his sons!

Thanks Adam!
With those screwdrivers if you break a tip they can remove the shank, put a new one in and you can keep the old handle.
Yep 👍. I’ll have them forever.
Congratulations brother
Thanks man!
Congrats on everything in life especially the family and the screw drivers!

You can get instinct in hard handle .I’m putting together a tool bag for my grand son.
Yea, if I were to get the instinct, it would be the hard grip version, but the classic square hard handle is just my favorite. That’s awesome man. I can’t wait to set up my son’s first tool bag.
You still need a 10mm wrench to complete your set?
Yes you’ve got the bug. And yes I would get the Pry bar too . 😁

😂😂 everybody needs tools dude. I won’t be mad at all if he turn into a computer genius! Just as long as he knows how to fix stuff when it breaks.

How were those screwdriver
I got a deal, but they usually run about $220.
