That's the closest to what we can have a lightsaber, since we don't have a lightsaber that can be a substitute for a sword yet (like be useable for sparring, like hitting another lightsaber doesn't just result in a pass through but actually repelling and hitting, or a tool that has technology that has similar equipment, like the whips that that those nightsisters from Dathomir uses). They at least got the part where it has a capability to burn through stuff at least. These knockoffs that Disney or other companies makes is plain sad, comparing to Hacksmith Industries.

That's really cheaply made then. Even the most basic of electronics, of the top my head a Disposable Vape you can purchase for 20$ has a surge protector as well as a universal regulator.

Most consumer electronics have a 5V regulator to enable universal compatibility with power sources. Any circuit that doesn’t have one is shoddy.
