I'm being absolutely honest here and I am an England fan through and through, I have never felt this confident in the actual squad, not just the starting 11 the entire squad, that includes the staff behind the scenes as well. I feel confident that these lads win or lose, they will play their hearts out and that is all we can ask. I can't see this team doing an Iceland and I can't see them conceding many goals if any this tournament. Let's go boys.

@Wdz One France have world class players, they just bottled it. Germany are a bit weaker than before, but have some good players who have won Champions Leagues and the World Cup. Portugal have a great squad, but a bad manager which let them down. This England squad is full of Premier League, Europa League and Champions League winners. The only ones who haven't really won anything major would be Declan Rice, Phillips and Harry Kane, maybe Saka if he starts. The fact that England haven't conceded shows they are organised and well drilled. This Danish game tomorrow will determine whether this English side is truly world class or not.

@Wdz One Dude shut up man what are you talking about, you just said a team only looks good because the other teams are crap, which by the way they are not, but that is how football works, sometimes your teams on form sometimes they are not and at this tournament we are world class its that simple. Even if those other teams were "crap" its their management and behind the scenes staff who need blaming and our management and staff have been amazing. That is the name of the game you win some you lose some and sometimes you get to the semis without conceding. Stop looking back we are in 2021 not the 90's stop hating.

Nah. Croatia didn't lose a single game in that tournament until the final, and it took the best team in the world to beat them. I think this will be slightly easier than people think, half our team and the manager know exactly how horrible it feels to lose a semi final , and will do everything they can not to go through it again.

I can't see them lasting the first half, they love to attack and we use space like no other team, we have played unreal balls, especially sterling, he sees the smallest of gaps and Denmark concede.

I think England will have to stop long shots coming in from outside the box to maintain a clean sheet which they did successfully with Modoric against Croatia, but Denmark will have more players capable of damage from outside the box so our defensive midfielders with the support of the rest of the team are going to have to be kings in the few opportunities Denmark will succeed to take the ball high up the pitch as they struggle to deal with the England style of play that does not give much away. At some point Denmark like Ukraine will rely on long ball passes over the top or, as Croatia did, across the ground through the middle to get the ball behind the England back line when England push up, so it will be vital the back line are ready for this and know it is coming. Everything else will be dealt with ease by England doing what they have been doing already that has made them so impregnable. The dribblers and speed runners in the England attack will be impossible for the Danes to handle, especially if they face them in the penalty box where they will have to let the player go being free to shoot or pass in fear of a likely penalty their height will make them more likely to give away or outside the front of it because of their height which always makes dealing with dribblers difficult and so they will give away a lot of fouls in dangerous areas for England to exploit. The less skilled Danish tacklers especially, such as attacking players will have big problems in dangerous areas, but everyone with height in the Danish team is going to struggle against the England dribblers and speed finding it difficult to stop them without a foul or keep up with them when they produce a sudden burst of speed with tall players always starting slower in a race and needing time to build up momentum and so again feeling helpless as they see the player heading away and being tempted to foul. What is great is that our dribblers will get these fouls in dangerous areas, but also that there is a realisation that their dribbling causes havoc that ensures their next pass half way through the dribble that reaches an England player will reach an English player facing a defence in disarray, most especially if it is a forward or sideways pass as Sterling has so powerfully demonstrated. I'll be surprised if tall Denmark players do not end up with yellow cards all over the park, ringing in their ears to deal with through much of the game. Those are my thoughts on the England Denmark game.
