Any? All of them!😄
I’m 66 and newly retired and have never had time to learn how to draw. I found your channel yesterday, and it is fantastic! Just what I need, so thank you! I am so excited to watch these brilliant tutorials and begin to learn ❤
Welcome! So glad you are here :-)
Same here! I’m a mere 63 though! These are a joy and make me feel like I could actually give it a go. 😊
The curved line at the edge of the cup and curving the road into the horizon were very helpful but really all the tips were great.
I watched this and a few other of your other drawing vids last night and today I tried to draw my house. I was struggling mightily until I realized i was drawing the tops of elements i couldn't actually see the tops of. I didn't even realize that was what I was doing until you popped into my head! I corrected the angles and it was like a miracle! There was my house! Recognizable, right there on the page! From my own hand! So, thank you so much!!!
Brilliant!
A professional artist once told me if the drawing isn't right then you will end up with a bad painting. These simple lessons on your video are worth practising thankyou Michele.
Amazing tips! Incredible insight into “simple” mistakes. Cool, I feel like my drawings has just improved by watching this video only 😁
Brilliant!
The path going up into the sky and not meeting the horizon in a fluent way is a mistake I make. As they say ' You don't even know what you don't know!' Thanks again Michele.
I appreciate how the lettering or design looks on an object like a cup or vase. It really does add dimension to follow the curve. Thank you.
Glad you like it!
Thanks for showing me how to correct my mistakes. Guilty of many!
I have learned more from your videos than I learned in my college courses!
Wow, thank you! College courses are variable I find, depends entirely on the tutor you get!
I have learned so much from you in the past few months.
So logical and ovbious once you point it out, and with a degree of humour (humor??), too! The one that helped me out the best was the trick for getting proportions right on a vase or bottle, or similar. Sooo useful. I will always do this, in future. Thank you, Michele (Karen??) 😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
With the whitish grey tones. A artist once explained it, as the icicles in Antarctica also have some sort of shade. There is contrast in the whitest of objects.
Every minute a gem. Thank you so much.
I am excited about you teaching drawing because you ar3 a great teacher. Thank you for this video.
I love your videos! I’m a student at a community college drawing 2; and I wish my teacher can show us these common mistakes. Thank you👏
Thanks for watching!
Many tops I've needed, but the most important, I believe, is to take much more time with it.
Thank you! I'm so glad I found this drawing tutorial. Great tips that make sense.
love it!!!
So helpful, MW! Thanks!
I have learned something from you from each video I have watched of yours. Thank you for realistic explanations with brief examples to see the point! Your bird tutorial helped me simplify my technique for feathers
Brilliant as always. I loved the tip of alignment using a piece of card. I can think of many uses for this. The other tip I found very helpful was to continue your drawing beyond its end point to help with perspective. I draw on anything and of anything these days in order to improve. You should see my latest gas bill I had been looking at in bed. Full of little drawings of what I see around me 😂
I love these drawing tutorials. Thank you.
Very helpful especially the solutions not requiring more tools.
Another great video, more drawing videos pleeaaaassse!!

The first example with getting a vase symmetrical used to plague me to frustration! I eventually used tracing paper folded in half, but your method of measuring is much easier and quicker. Thank you!

You are welcome, Julie! :-)
Great job
Thanks, Beulah!
Everything is very helpful and I can put into practice. I did want to agree with using a piece of paper to measure and mark. I found it extremely helpful to be able to put the mark on a piece of paper to use over and over while I was drawing a face. Excellent information here. Thank you.
You are very welcome Maretta!
Thank you. I enjoy your tutorials and being a beginner, always learn.
Great to hear! That's what I do them for :-)
Terrific tutorial! I learned so much. Thank you Michelle.
So glad!
I’ve been completely absent from drawing and painting since my last set of classes February 2020. Now I’ve settled into our new locale and daily think about getting going again. This is the first among many of your tutorials I’ll use for inspiration and instruction. ❤️
Thank you Michelle, this was so informative, I can see where I've been going wrong with paths and tonal value. I always learn such a lot from you. Love the nails too 😊
Why thank you!
Thank you Michele for these amazing tips to keep in mind. I will watch this again and again to engrain them in my brain!!!
That's the way! :-)
Very helpful, thank you.
Glad it was helpful, Wendy.
Thank you Michele, this was very useful, I especially liked the botanical tips and the way you measured the vase.
It's often the simple things that help the most.
Such useful tips. Thank you for taking the time to make this lesson.
Glad it was helpful!

I can't thank you enough for all your tips I've never been able to do portraits but I used your gridding technique and did this
Sorry tried to post pic of the drawing but didn't work
CZcams doesn't allow image insertion in comments anymore, people were using it for, er, unseemly purposes shall we say! Feel free to share your work over in my Facebook group :-)
What an amazing teacher you are. So much expertise to share. I greatly appreciate how you guide us.

You're welcome 🙂
What an interesting video Michele, yes I've made these mistakes more than once too. You've made it clear to me that if you're correct from the start by planning and preparation, enjoyed this video as always which was explained calmly how to create detailed picture. Thanks appreciating stay safe and healthy
Thanks Phillip!
Thank you, drawing seems so difficult until you explain it.
Glad it helped 🙂
This was very helpful, thanks Michele. Now I just have to put into practise.
You can do it!

The eyes are halfway down and leave the skull cap on. Got it. Thanks Michele 💜 Flowers seem harder than people!
Indeed, Annette! No scalping or lobotomies on people! :-)
Thank you for these very helpful tips. As a person who had always turned to the computer to create, I’m now teaching myself to draw and paint. I find your instruction style, as well as your content, well thought out, clearly explained and beautifully demonstrated. Please continue to provide videos for everyone.
Thanks so much!
I love your videos Michele. They are so helpful to my everyday practice. I thought you may want to know that there is kind of an echo-y sound effect on this video. I haven't noticed it before.
It's some time ago, it may be when I moved house, the room was a little empty :-)
multi-colored nails, nice change from the charcoal/ flame job
Nice tutorial as a leaner my self your interesting video help a lot 🙏💐💐🙏
Glad you liked it!
Great video. I'd love to see more of your personality come through.
Thanks, Matthew!
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber you're welcome. Do you also do work shops or face2face classes?
@@MattBookbinder yes I do. I stopped because of Covid but I have two workshops coming up in August and September. They aren't on the website yet but will be soon. The best way to find out about them is to join my Facebook group or add yourself onto my mailing list. There's a form on my website or download any of the free PDFs I offer.
So I'm watching this with my dogs asleep at my feet. When you started talking about cats and DOGS my smart dog raised her head and listened to what you had to say. Then she exhaled, disregarding your cat superiority statement, and went back to sleep. : ) She knew her kind was being discussed and that there is simply no way a cat can compete...
Looking forward to mor drawing videos
More to come!
I am guilty!!! Thank you so much. This is amazing and will help me do much!!! 💐💐
Ah that's great, you are very welcome 🙂
Michele, thank you! Im a new subscriber, i love your simple yet useful tutorials with no background music, big 👍 Up. Do you have any tips on how to do shading ? I try and try but it never comes out right.. 🥵
I don't like music in videos that are not about music so I don't inflict it on others! Shading, long lead, light hand and blend. I may do a video about it.
Amazing! Do you have a flower drawing video? I’m having the hardest time with petals….thank you so much for these awesome videos
Have a look in my drawing tips playlist I am pretty sure I have a flower drawing video there 🙂
