@@andyo5554 yeah can't imagine some one like Barbatos surviving the war. He only ascended to godhood because Andrius refuse. Morax seemed to bitchslap everyone during the war though. No it's her own followers sealed it, They thought it was her curse that everyone turned to salt. They returned the sword they used to kill her and then sealed the whole place.

Yonow. I’ve been thinking about Mondstat and the rebellion against Decarabian, and... isn’t this just the same? A god protecting their people in the worst way possible, and meeting death at the hands of the ones they sought to protect? There are differences of course, but it’s hard to overlook the sinilarities and the stark contrast to how these gods are viewed in the aftermath.
The first time I played this quest, I literally thought to myslf: "Talk about a verbal beatdown...I'm gonna use something like this to outlaw all of religion."
This story area reminded me of the profaned capitol and yhorm from dark souls 3. I think they might have gotten some inspiration from that equally tragic back story
The Gods in Genshin aren't immortal. In the story she took her people from North to South and never found a home for her people. They lived underground with a small population and the people knew they would lose since they were all pacifists. Instead they killed the Salt Goddess to spare her from the suffering she would face once the other Gods arrived.
This is the true nature of Morax being the god of contracts himself he does not back down from his contracts which made him look cold and merciless
Another example is Azhdaha.
Yes, but Morax was merciful. If this was Morax of old, he would have killed Wanyan without hesitation
@@yharnamiyhill787 yup, currently, he doesn't seem very ruthless.
"YOU ARE FOLLOWER OF MORAX I WONT BELIVE YOU"
Zhongli: I am morax ._.
Technically all of Liyue's Harbor residence is Morax's follower. So thus the outburst.
So if this dead archon have won the war.. we will have salt users...😂
Salt bae will be our character lmfao
Lmao everyone will be salty
Dude her curse is the gacha portion. People be salty whenever they lose the 50/50
I think God of Salt can be Hydro
@@yunomocha2014 nope would be geo because salt is minerals

If we remember how the Archons are and Zhongli's wish. I wonder if she did get a chance at rebirth to have a better life not bound by being a god.

Maybe....maybe not....
Either way I hope her life is way better than what she'd been through....
Her people forced her to commit assisted seppuku. She didnt even resisted.
I enjoyed this story quest. it was interestingly sad.
it is even sadder if you think the god of salt might have looked like Barbara or any of the child characters.
I dont even dare to take the treasure after finishing the qeuest in salt terae

So that why he seal that place entrance, even rex lapis in the past feared of havria story.

@@koizu5324 besides....you need at least a vision holder to cast the seal, since havria already dead, there's no way her follower to do the job.

Ms Wanyan: We- We hate him! You’re a follower of Morax!

She simply failed to protect them and got killed by her people.
Decarabian was considered a tyrant
Like everyone says truth is one of the most painful you'll ever feel
Story freaking made me cry. Combined with the music from Stormterror, just can't go against that.
Break the contract? TENDOU BANSHOU!

Zhongli managed to do that because he was alive at the time the goddess of salt died, so good luck haha
his story quest is slept on smh
My top event story quests:
1. Venti
2. Childe
3. Zhongli
These 3 really hit hard, specially the Venti one with the Adventurer's death 😔
This story was heavy.
Sometime, too much kindness can hurt others and yourself
Paimon say Zhongli! and oi Zhongli! so cute😳🥺
When the music hits hard.
Just finished it and i literally cried

Good story, but whats better is wanyan's voice, cant believe hoyo put this cute voice as an npc
The music in the background, does anyone know the name of it?
Hello there
This quest was actually pretty sad 😔
Dude, i really love Paimon but in this mission was so annoying.
I'm so confused.... how could a mortal kill a god???
Well the thing is, most god in fiction isnt omnipotent and genshi also follow that rule
Read the story again zhongli said that the god of salt didn't resist so that's why they manage to kill her.

She become VERY weak so they could kill her, and appearently, she didn't even resist...by knowing that she couldn't protect them.
The gods in Genshin can be killed by people, though most gods would be to strong unless they let you
can you all list the soundtrack ?
Storm terror lair
@@SuperbKombat It´s the same melody but different arragement, the most similar is Slight Distress but it still isn´t the exact same
