      Football Made Simple He’s definitely not shifting! Quite the opposite actually I think he’s adapted perfectly now. He has more touches, more key passes and more dribbles per game than he did last season! It’s still early in the season tho so it’s bound to change but it’s so far looking really bright.

He always adapt his mindset during difficult games and the most important thing is he learn and develop to play off the ball that's why he is dangerous and has become more imprevise and difficult to the opposition to defender, different from Messi for example who is a threat with the ball.

    But, after Sarri came to the club, Ronaldo doesn't drop deep more often. Tries to link up with only final third players but eventually goes to wait the ball in the box. He often passes the ball backwards when he drops deep thinking the ball will come back to him after his teammate will front cross him from the back but that doesn't happen afterall. In Real Madrid, he had players such as Isco and Kroos who used to front cross him from the back but that's not happening here. He just TRIES to be a lethal finisher waiting in the penalty box but he is not able to convert all the chances to goal. That's why he hardly scores 2 or 3 in a match.

    Ronaldo knows this juve club very poor in having creative midfield players. Players like matudi, samikedira, emrechan very very slow in creativity, boal control and dribbling but in real Madrid they had creative midfield players that is why he play at the front field but in juve he try to play deeply because of the juve midfielders.

  • @naurezaasi
    @naurezaasi Před 4 lety

    I think Ronaldo is no more dribbling and relying more on passes. The reason he comes back is due to the lack of creativity in midfield which was provided him by Modric and Kross. Moreover, since Ronaldo is best (along with Messi), he just can't stand and see others playing with less quality compared to what he demands. Which forces him to play a more vital role in play-making, which definitely effects him in numbers of scores.
