  • Mated the SW Motech cylinder guards with the SW Motech engine crash bars. The combination looks awesome.
Step by step install. Pretty easy to mount these with the fit and finish being perfect.

Hi, great vidéo, and as you said, rare one. The rubber seems touching before the crash bars, that's surprising because it means putting pressure directly on the cylinder before having the bar to block. However, knowing SW-Motech, there is most likely a good reason for that. Thank you

It’s actually an illusion. If the bike tipped over, the crash bars would actually hit first due to the front crash bar/member touching first (sticks out slightly).

Looks great! Will it fit the OEM engine bar? Can I install it without removing the OEM engine bar?

I guess you can only use them in combo with the sw motech crashbars?
I have touratech crashbars will they fit?

Ya, I’m pretty sure they can only be used with the Motech crash bars due to the design of each.

@@MotoPapa88 FYI, I've the BMW original protection - don't know the exact name in English, it's like a "shell" - it's less covering rather than the one from SW-Motech, it protectes only the low side, but it fits perfectly with SW crashbars. For sure, it's less protective, but it's better than nothing between bars and cylinders.

thought LONERIDER crash bar would be better

Lonerider doesn’t have a crash bar for this bike yet.

This over priced bike will never go off road or need this! Show it smoking in the mud and water it went though!

Thanks for taking time out of your extremely busy schedule to tell me that. I’ve expressed many times in my previous videos I don’t plan on off-roading this bike. Maybe overpriced to you, but not to many around the world.

@@MotoPapa88just because some of us own an adv doesn’t mean we are going to go off road, a lot of adv’s are simply meant just for touring. I certainly enjoy your videos a content and respect what you wish to do with your bike 👍🇬🇧
