I've been using this stuff for a while and the way I'd describe it is that it turns "maybe?" into "yes!" if you've done your watercraft and put it where the fish are willing to feed. From observing fish in the margin it seems to evoke a more positive feeding reaction, you don't really get the scenario where fish are sort of appearing and leaving while maybe taking a mouthful as they pass, they just get there heads down and eat to the extent that they'll keep coming back and poking around after all the food items are gone. It's hard to say if it's massively increased my catch rate as I mostly fish lakes where bites are hard to come by and it's not always possible to reach the fish but I do seem to pick up a lot of odd-uns that don't really get caught a lot or are known to be easily spooked. It's not magic and it's not going to do the hard work for you but I do think it adds a good few percent onto your chances assuming you've got the basics right

I have tried the glug/gel. I can honestly say, It hasnt done anything miraculous for me. That was over 2 years ago. Not sure what is different now.
