    We used to fish it when it was lechlade angling before it was harvested to stock lynch hill. I was reliably told original stock was 4500 fingerling carp when the BAA had it. Amy angling ( ARC's fishery division )netted it and moved hundreds to Lynch which became their home base. We had some great times there before the carp society took it over. No more than about a dozen fishing it at a weekend then the CS filled it with anglers and we left. We found ourselves chased by the hoards on the fisheries around stanton Harcourt being pegged like match fisheries.

    Great stuff love horseshoe lake some amazing carp in there. That pinch of corn you put out you know with current like that it wouldnt of gone anywhere near your rig would of gone on the way down. Freeze in into balls much easier and more accurate.

      @@judderzm2252 the intention is for them to drop into the low lying weed in an area around the rig, so they were perfectly placed for the situation. I don’t want the bait sat in a pile. There was minimal water movement in 3/4ft of water

      @TheFishingBloggers nice, I will buy one myself, getting a little older and the struggle is real lol. I want to get to my swim with ease to focus on my fishing quicker. Have you found the power to be enough for where you have fished?

    • @TheFishingBloggers
      @TheFishingBloggers  Před 29 dny +1

      @@craigbowley2312 I travel as light as possible, but the barrow has allowed me to take a few more extras like the 20L cool box on the front. The side access has made a huge difference too as I can keep the barrow fully loaded and fish off it and still access all the kit. It’s got loads of power, the only thing I find tricky is getting the right speed on the trigger to match my walk.

    • @craigbowley2312
      @craigbowley2312 Před 29 dny +1

    • @TheFishingBloggers
      @TheFishingBloggers  Před 13 dny

      Never had a problem presenting, there’s low level silk weed all over but a longer hook length and a pop up or a solid bag is all you need. I’ve caught on bottom baits with mesh sticks on my first trip, worked a treat
