dope workflow vid. I love the MPC Touch I hope Akai doesn't abandon it. just keep it in their MPD controller line up. 8-10 even people who have the stand alone MPC have it tethered to their lap top or desk top anyway. Keep the Touch alive please

How do you apply the EQ Kill to all your slices instead of one at a time?
How do you always get that Lofi, Boombap Sound to your Drums?
I think it's just down to filtering a bit of the drums and a good swing.

I noticed your sample pack has hi-hats and drums playing over the bass guitar, but the samples you use in this video don’t have any drums, or percussion. Do you have a tutorial showing how to sample something that has hi-hats, and drums playing over it?
How come when I play certain kicks and Bass parts I get a bunch of warlby distortio? Not in a good way. Almost like the frequencies are interfering with each other and causing them to warp. Is it just a frequency issue? This is different than general muddiness of the mix. Like even when you showed what happens when you don't make the pads monophonic, it was generally still just muddiness, not warping.

If you know the note of the sample, go to sample edit and select the note of the sample there.

Yes, you have mute groups for the pads you want to make mono all the rest can stay poly

The bass chops were part of a pack I released there a few months back. These are not available there anymore but you can get them from bandcamp. I do release new packs on Patreon every month, this month I’ll have a double bass pack on it, the link stays up for 4 weeks only after that you can only get the packs from bandcamp.
