I really liked the legend-rule back then (apart of the interaction with clone-creatures...) :(
It was so much more flavorful to only have one legendary creature with the same name on the entire field. It gave legendary creatures an even more unique feel, but I understand why they made the changes.

I love this one with Mairsil since I want to make copies of him for his ETB this allows it to be really silly and keep the copies XD

Elesh Norn with Blade of Selves and Mirror Gallery would be a one shot for commander damage if all three Eleshes smacked the same guy. 24 commander damage total. You just have to amass 20 mana in a mono-white deck.

It's too bad helm of the host is gonna make this card a bit "meh" at least when it comes to creatures. Other legendaries will still be fun(ny) to copy.

Ah Helm is a sweet card but it cost 5 to play and 5 to equip. That's a lot of manas

david saraj Yeah but I mostly intend to jerry rig most of my decks with white for maximum chance to cheat it into play. If that fails I'm sure something else in the Dominaria set will assist.
