The Most Expensive Hotel in Serbia - One Night in Belgrade

- 27-28. March 2024. Serbia (Србија). Belgrade (Београд). Had to be in the city this week, so figured I'd combine obligation with Vesela Sreda ("Happy Wednesday") & "let's make millions on CZcams." So here's 24 hours in Belgrade, with a night at Serbia's most expensive hotel (at least per my search on booking), the 5-star Square Nine on Studentski Trg. I'll show you the room, have a couple hotel meals, a few hotel drinks, and take a walk in Kalemegdan (one of my favorite city parks in the world).

@@tanjagak2097 Why you worry what i can afford , i been to 30 cruises by now so i for sure can afford but i am not crazy to pay that prices ,like you can get bigger room for 70-80$ in hotel Bohemian with view off Skadarlija.
And i live in Kragujevac in Serbia.
@@dzonikg ok I made mistakes with Ohio but you should not worry about him what he can afford and what not. If he wants to go to an expensive hotel and enjoy it for one day and he can afford it , that is not your problem, obviously
for 550$ i would sleep in park in middle of winter :)

One correction on Kalemegdan , megdan in this case is Battlefield ( bojshte in Serbian )from turkish and not Maidan as square :)
interesting. i'm turkish, and do not know the word "megdan" :) the word "meydan" doesn't solely mean "square," but can also refer to an open space (such as a field). my understanding is that "meydan" phonetically changed to "megdan" when used by the serbs

Unlike many one-dimensional cities throughout Europe and the world, even Serbia, Belgrade has various seducing layers of culture. Obvious in architecture, mentality, even food. Oriental aura is one of them. Ancient Roman is another, a very strong feature. And, unlike any other city, Belgrade has a soul.

breakfast buffet was included in my room rate. but the scrambled eggs i ordered off the menu was around $7

I stayed in this hotel too and I like my bathroom more than my room especially because of the Hermes toiletries. As for breakfast, it was not so good at all ... We had to pay extra for it too. You can stay in a much nicer hotel in Dubai for example for the same price as this one.. Oh, I forgot I couldn't sleep at night because there was a rock concert in a students' park across the street ..

It‘s no destroying a view, its not destroying Kalemegdan it just brings it to 21st century. A very nice development you don‘t even see in developed countries. Bringing beauty and money to Belgrade (especially with Yandex). I‘d love to live there

it's very shame for Serbia actualy.. This unjustifiably expensive hotel is probably owned by some criminal - tycoon (one and the same) Without any particular taste, without authenticity related to Serbia... Shame ..shame
