But Shuna has a slightly weaker version of the Great Sage at her disposal called: Analyst .... It does not have its own voice ... her skill does not have parallel processing, but she can analyze people, can accelerate her thoughts and has access to the same DB of knowledge if she knows what to look for She needs to do it all on her own, but but with her natural talent and the training that she received as priestess of the Ogers She is Rimurus strongest magic user ... outside of the Great sage ... And as such she is in charge of keeping an eye on new arrivals in the city, for possible problematic skills... which is why she noticed the 3 otherwolders and rushed there with Shion Thanks to mind accelerate she was able to analyze the sound wave created by the skill and create a counter wave that nullified it completely in the blink of an eye .... Basically Shuna has access to a super computer without an AI so she needs to give orders to it herself ...unlike Rimuru who has a boosted Supercomputer thanks to being a slime and also top tier AI that can handle most of it for him .... Shuna lacks Magical capacity so she often gets left behind at home, outside of battle but she should not be underestimated .... Yes its 2 different barriers ... the Priest cast Prison field, since it was not mentioned before ... just that he has a trump card ..we can guess that it is something that is geared against monsters While Mjurans great magic .... seems to be aimed at cutting off communication, which would more than likely mean something to seal magical means ... as tat would be the main way for monsters ... thought communication and magical items /spells like the crystal ball In the novel tis explained that Mjurans barrier should have come up first ... it would have prevented Alvis from reaching Tempest ... and they would not know that Milim decaled war, and the beastmen are coming to tempest as refugees .... but Gruchis and Youm delaying her .... made it possible for the message to reach .... as both Barriers activated at the same time ... And Yes the following episodes are a wild ride .... so buckle up (through the anime does have some pacing issues at times, the events make up for it big timer)
