The "green people/ogres" are goblins, the "horned people" are ogres, the "hogs" are orcs, and the "slime girl" is a guy and technically genderless
yea sins slimes species don't have gender technically, famine males are so common in anime, he took it from a female (wont say more, more would be spoiler) but its not 100% her look so hes male side got mixed in to it, i would say he looks like if the2 had a baby

Just simply: one of the best series (anime/manga/LN). Its light novel is my most favourite one.
And the main character is a "male" in "soul" but "genderless" in "body". So he isn’t a girl...

The mind was previously male, the original body was previously female, now it genderless in mind and body, because its a slime. If not it would be very awkward with the dress show and the bathing.
@@marior.5796 There's no "original body". Rimuru is just mimicking Shizu's face, he's not using her body. In fact, this is made even more obvious when you see that everything besides his face doesn't resemble Shizu's body. Way smaller, completely flat, etc. Rimuru can change his appearance to whatever he wants, he just keeps this appearance because of Shizu.

This anime is in my Top 3 (after One Piece and Overlord) and the story is amazing. I really enjoy the World Building aspect and the stuff thats not said in the Anime but in the Light Novels.

EDIT 2: Opening 4 was done by a CZcamsr who did a lot of Covers of anime songs in japanese and her native tongue Thai and even some in english and now she "finally" made a few Opening songs herself!

I would recommend this anime. The OPs shows so much and so many characters because this isn't just a fantasy/adventure story but a "Birth of a Nation" story. You were definitely right about opening 4, both the main character and the audience are pretty pissed at that point in the story.
Birth of something more if you read the LN but yeah

I don't want to give anything away because this show is such a joy to discover for yourself but I REALLY HOPE you decide to watch it because it's one of my all-time favorites and it has such a wonderful gallery of characters, and having gotten to know your tastes a little bit I RELLY think you would like it.
I can guarantee you will feel the full range of all human emotions during the course of watching this anime if you decide to, but it's not one of those shows that pulls at your heartstrings "just because", all the emotions feel really natural and grounded and "earned" somehow.

Hi ali, i'm new here bcus i watch ur reaction of one Piece openings, love ur reaction for others anime to include this opening to, its great isekai anime for sure, but if i can speak a lil bit then maybe u need to coordinated ur self first about what u are going to watch, for example maybe u can finish frieren first and then u can start new one (which i recommend for one Piece for sure lol), JJK, etc, or maybe even u can do both, for example u can organize ur schedule like u can do one Piece 3 times a week at monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the rest tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday u can watch JJK, and at sunday maybe u can take some rest or maybe u can do reaction on other anime u want to post once a week, so after that u still can constantly upload on going anime which drop once a week like demon slayer and Kaiju, u can post double for a day (maybe JJK and demon slayer bcus when u upload JJK then demon slayer drop at same day to) same as Kaiju to, i put one Piece 3 times a week bcus its longer, or maybe u can changes it to watch one punch men season 2 and JJK or anything, anyways its all just my opinion, and ofc its up to u, idk if that can help u or not, i hope u can get what i want to saying bcus my English is bad lol

I actually do have a coordinated schedule hehe, it may not seem like it, frieren, Opm, kaiju, and now demon slayer are once a week, then I react to anime op/end to get familiar with other shows, to build a list of things I would like to watch in the future, and for polls and Patreon exclusives. Frieren and opm I’ve already finished the series, Patreon gets them quicker than CZcams. Once frieren is completed on CZcams I’ll be posting JJK, and once OPM is finished I’ll be bringing in One Piece. 💗

Rimuru before being reincarnated was a male, but once reincarnated became a slime, and slimes are about as genderless you can get, and then they got their human form from a woman, resulting in a feminine-androgynous look in which Rimuru is explicitly comfortable in, as they have the ability to manipulate the body to be either more masculine or more feminine but they prefer it that way

Personaly id rank mushoku tensei above it but thats hardly a knock to slime. Its more stating that both are fantastic. Both just have really different tones and feels.
Mushoku Tensei and Re:zero are above imo but it's still top 5 isekai easily

A fun recommendation for your next opening reaction would be "Food Wars", lOOts of fun.
Milium an absolute powerhouse and a real agent of chaos. An original Demon lord and a true dragon. She a force of nature and very difficult to contain. Rimuru only befriended her because there was no other option.

Using his knowledge from his old life, he built a nation where intelligent monsters and demi-humans can live in peace as humans do. The populace of the nation includes a variety of races such as goblins, dwarves, ogres, lizardmen, dragonewt, orcs, dryads, spirits, and many more. While living through a life of prosperity, he may encountered many adversaries along the way.
You should definitely watch Slime. Much like One Piece, it is a really relaxing, funny and wholesome anime, but every now and then, you step into the dark and horible underbelly of the world, with all the horrible things that come with it.
It really makes you feel like you're there since, even though it is a fantasy world, there's much realism in it, such as political and economical nuances, social inequallities and clashing ideals. And the story goes through all of this things in a realistic matter, albeit, much faster that it would really happen.
This isn't a combat oriented series, it is much more strategical and as such, there are many long "meetings", but once the action starts, it's really well done. The power system in this series is also one of the best ever created and it is really simple but at the same time extremely extensive.
The anime is an adaptation of the manga, which in itself is an adaptation from the novels. This means that there are many things that happen in the novels, that the anime completely dissmises but that later on will be major plot points or wll be the explanation for certaing things that happen.
Nonetheless, I recommend you watch it, you'll love it.

One of the best isekai, is mainly about worldbuilding but has great emotions, powers, sound effects, is my favorite anime ever, 3rd season is running right now, and yes we have all kinds of races here: orcs, dragons, humans, fairies, with sure you shoud watch

Very similar to this one, yet very different.
The best isekai anime in my opinion, on top of the list for me alongside the big three.
Ogres that evolved to oni and into Kyijin. And green are goblins that evolved into something unique though still on the goblin line. And the pigs are orcs that became High orcs. Yeah it’s one of the fantasy series. The wolves are dire wolves that became star wolves and into tempest wolves. The slime went from basic slime to evolved slime to demon slime to true dragon slime somehow.
They evolved into kyijin then oni
The main character starts as male, gets eisikied into a slime, and then they absorbs a female warrior that they can turn into. Their gender at this point is yes.
Slime is pretty great. Its not quite top 3 but it's still up there.

As a slime Rimiru is neither male or female but takes on a male persona as he was a male in his past life, the mark was given to him by a friend who was also from Japan but during the time of the Tokyo bombing in the 1940s.

You should check out the two openings for Slime Diaries and Visions of Coleus. In this franchise, all side material is canon.
This series is basically civ builder meets JRPG meets european high fantasy.
Every guess you said was wrong and the main character (Rimuru) is genderless. But this show is really good and I highly recommend

2. fan service is not excessive
3. The story feels peaceful and pleasant
Now many channels that I follow no longer react to this anime and that makes me disappointed, and after seeing you react to the OP of this anime, I hope you react to the anime too, when season 2 finished yesterday I followed the LN and it was really interesting. in season 3 it may still be half or even less than the LN story

If you want a good, isekai anime to get into for beginners, That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime is one I highly recommend. It is a lot of fun and the animation is pretty solid too across all current seasons.
I don't know if what I'm about to say is controversial, but while the slime is actually genderless, based on their name Rimuru and the fact that he was a man before reincarnating, I'd rather call him a boy than a girl 😅
Damn u need to see it...the main character is Rimuru who is a really powerful, and Rimuru is a guy. He took the form of girl who came to that world from Japan years before, but she sadly died. So he just is a male version of the girl....but Rimuru is just a resurrected 35 yr old guy. And the ones u called ogres are the goblins and the horn people are the ogres. The anime is interesting cause its not a typical isekai, and theres more world building and character development...my favorite anime. Love the video.

If you dont like a lot of talking in anime then i cant recommend it for you. I personally love the world building. But a bunch of ppl complain about not enough fighting. So yea just a heads up.
Exactly, it's more about the world building, developing relationships with other creatures/monsters, establish a peace treaty with the humans.There's a lot of fighting in there but that's not the main focal point.
