After all those years of comming close and even closer during 2010 decade once Andy Reid came. 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 year by year chiefs got better and learned and finally busted through. All 3 playoffs games they got slow start and were down but never gave up and caved in!

The way Mahomes throws just looks like it's not real. It looks like he puts no arm strength into it, but it goes flying so fast and high.

The season for the Chiefs was so special. All the ups and downs, from the losing streak, to Mahomes dislocated knee cap, to Matt Moore coming in to replace Mahomes, and going 2 -1. So many great events, and story lines. It is a season for the ages to be sure.

Keep in mind Henry caught 2 passes for -8 yards in the second half. That means overall, Henry had negative yardage for the entire second half. To hold someone like Henry to negative yardage for two quarters is just unreal.
Maybe it had nothing to do with the defense and more with that Henry choked.

I’ll never forget this season, Tannehill took over for Mariota and the 2-4 titans and played his heart out, generated killer stats, helped take some of the load off Henry, and made his first career pro bowl. It was almost a perfect story, but lost the shootout to Mahomes.

It seems like that and I caught myself thinking that too but if you watch the entire play there's really only one defender that seems scared to tackle. The others were clearly legitimate misses. And that one defender was actually trying to strip the ball more than make a tackle which could be argued is a better decision than tackling because the Chiefs are certainly going to score with a fresh set of downs from the 2 yard line anyway (this is a decision we're seeing defenders make more and more often, and not just against the protected quarterbacks). I guess my overall point is that Mahomes' run was legit and came due to his subtle yet very skillful and smart juking abilities as opposed to a cautious defense.

When you realize Mahomes was not only the better QB, but damn near out performed the monster Henry at his own game. That's how good Mahomes is, he's on a different level and people need to understand that.
Also, huge shout out to Sammy Watkins. He knew Hill and Kelce were going to draw doubles all day and he took complete advantage of it. Every time KC needed a big play, there was Sammy with some acrobatic catch or clutch first down after first down. That Mahomes-Watkins bomb at the end really told the story of this game honestly.
