We begin in Marston Doles and travel past Priors Hardwick and Wormleighton before stopping in Fenny Compton, only to find the services closed, forcing us to go on to a marina.

The drone footage never gets old, and the medieval village shots look like something out of National Geographic - very cool! The highlight of Friday!
Awesome, thank you!
Absolutely agree Bill, with all your statements. Spot on!
My late husband and I found a mooring like that on the Grand Union.About 6 o'clock in the evening a peacock turned up from God knows where and strutted down the towpath. What a privilege on a beautiful summers evening.
Random! I'd have been filming it 😛
it looks like those jeans are the result of when david banner got angry and turned into the Hulk.!!!!!!!!!!
YES! I need some Green paint 😂
Am I the only one, during the intro, wanting to reach into the screen and fix Colin's shirt sleeve!
No. It drives me mad every time I see it 😬
@@FoxesAfloat No I can't be arsed. Easy life ! lol
Wow, you can really tell there's almost no movement on the canals with those mighty clouds of silt Silver Fox is kicking up. Great weather too!
You got that right! Lovely weather! All-over-tan complete 😏
I could sit and watch and listen to you guys for ever!
Awww, Pat 💜 thank you
Colin you are amazing! The information you provide from wife killers to Lady Diana. Your drone footage is fantastic! The music the jokes all of it is great! Shaun your one word answers are just perfect and we love your laughter! Love your cooking too! You guys give us so much and we appreciate it!
Aww, thanks, Sharon!
Beautiful scenery, beautifully filmed. We also should not forget the detail provided - well researched and presented at the right level. Thank you.
Many thanks!
You need two halves of an empty coconut shell to do a proper horse gallop sound... "Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?"
I might be posing a question 😂
Im so glad I found you're channel! You provide a bit of everythng. A slice of comedy, a slice of history with a side dish of just niceness! You are both brilliant!
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much! 💜💜
Fanny Compton?! i'll never think of it the same way again. Another wonderful vid. Thank you, lovely Foxees
😂😂😂
The outtakes are allways my favourite parts of the vlog
Same!
Foxes Afloat :)
Another great vlog gentlemen! I especially like hearing the subtle sounds of the water from the front of the boat, it's very relaxing to me. Your choices of music are very nice and fitting. As always, I look forward to your weekly vlogs and hearing of your latest adventures. Stay well, Luv You Guys!!🤗
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely vlog guys 👍 Love the bit with Dillon going back and forth 😄
Us too!
Nothing better than having a lazy Sunday and watching your play lists all day, so relaxing 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Hi guys, I have an idea, instead of buying poop bags buy nappy sacks they are the same size as poop bags but they're perfumed and you get more of them for roughly a quid 👌😉. Awwww that swan looked so lovely sat on his/her nest, bless them. I must admit that the rural parts of Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire are really outstanding. Thank you for sharing your time with us all, stay safe and well, much love. xx💖
We use nappy bags for cat poop, they contain the smell too 👍
Great idea! Will have to check those out 👍🏻
@@FoxesAfloat They can be used for so many things and are actually quite strong. x
More wonderful footage! I SO enjoy all the historical info on the places you pass by, as well as where you stop. Colin, your talents as a videographer are stellar! And Shaun, I don't think you could be a better companion on these adventures! Again, thanks for sharing, guys. Please stay healthy, and happy... J.
Thank you so much, John! 💜
i enjoy your sense of humor, and find your journeys very calming. the english countryside is lovely. i live in northern california, and there is nothing like the canals here.
Thank you! 😃
Those drone shots never get old, just gorgeous. RIP Diana, I often wonder where she would've stood on matters that have played out and if she was just too dangerous.
Who knows. xx
Hy Guys
Thanks guys, another fun filled, informative vlog, wish i'd had Colin as a history teacher at school, he makes it so interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it
We especially liked the music this time!! Marc and Missy in Benson Vermont...USA....think you're the bees knees! ...Our favorite vlog heroes !!!! Also, loved the drone footage!!!! We pause to check it out!!!
That is awesome! Thank you guys! 💜👍🏻
Wow Colin - that sequence starting at the 9:11 mark is fantastic. The short sequences all timed/changing on the beat of the music - it's the editing prowess and efforts that make you guys a massive step up from many vlogging channels. I know how much time you put into them and just want to once again reiterate how much all your finesse and "small things" touches are noticed and appreciated!
Thank you so much 👍🏻
I can't think of anything to say, so I'll just rewind and watch you all over again. 💕
Just keep doing that 😂
Thanks Colin and Shaun for another entertaining and as always, humorous vlog. I really have to say, I found the history tidbits in this one quite interesting. The drone footage showing us the remnants of old medieval villages was quite interesting and really justifies owning a drone . . . is a good thing ;) I also found the Spencer home and the memorial there for Diana intriguing, great job as always Colin putting in the long hours of research. And yes. . . I think you guys could become overnight millionaires , selling the concept of Poo Mountain to Disney. Thanks for another enjoyable start to my weekend and you guys take very good care.
Haha! I don't fancy riding it though 😂
How marvelous and surprising to see a native american style tipi house in the middle of the english countryside.
Holiday tipis 👍🏻
Beautiful scenery today along with the music and the drone views.
Thanks 👍
Thanks guys for a lovely funny sunny vlog with lots of interesting info as well. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Our pleasure, Stevie!
I watch two or three of your videos every day. I enjoy them very much. Thanks guys. You're a great couple.
Aww, cheers Richard!
Thanks fun and educational information in one excellent video 👍👍
Our pleasure!
Hey Guys of all the channels doing their thing,I must admit yours is far superior to the rest of them...... billytwohearts from Ontario Canada
Aww, cheers, billy!

That's brilliant! We have a playlist with all the videos in order from the beginning czcams.com/play/PLcS0xjJs-N1B0wlKhMBs6RdWnJNoKLO4B.html
That was a beautiful vlog. Just finished watching it and I swear I had a smile all through it.
So glad!
Another delightful vlog to enjoy. Can you include a bit of cooking Shaun in some of your videos? Incredible photography and historical content is wonderful.
Thanks! Shaun does do some cooking a few of our episodes 😋
Can you do a blog on your camera and editing, because your editing and camera shots are the best on youtube, so would like to see a day in the life of filming your day, keep it up, thanks wayne
Maybe one day!
Sunny in so many ways. Thanks for all your hard work in putting these videos together for us.
Thank you! Totally our pleasure.
Lovely vlog! Love the ripple water shots off the boat! Glorious weather!! Your getting closer to us!! Welcome 😊
So close! Where are you now?
@@FoxesAfloat still in Swindon, but your only about an hour away now 😉. Stay safe, stay happy, stay dry 😄
Very good video. Nice to see the countryside. You do an excellent job with the drone shots Colin. And seeing Dillon is always a pleasure. Shaun is also good company in the videos. I hope you have a pleasant couple of weeks.
In Perth Western Australia the lock-down is lifting in stages. I hope we keep at 0 new cases per day as we have for the past week or two. We have very few active cases now. So hopefully we will be virus free and stay that way for a while. Thanks for your videos.
Thanks 👍 I wish we were down to 0 cases! Still in the thousands each day 😬
great video as always, and im in love with your drone footage; you operate the drone really well and its really effective!
Thank you Emily! x
@@FoxesAfloat no problem! x
Watching you guys always is relaxing, thanks for the great content , really always enjoy seeing you two.
Thanks so much
Thanks for a great video guys. Love your beautiful country side and awesome drone footage.
Thank you 🙏
History facts, trains and a top dog, what’s not to like. And a bit of summery Greek music to end. Stay safe. C&Lx
What more do you need? 😂
Really beautiful landscape. Nice view & video. You three are always fun to watch.
Thank you so much 😀
Hi, love the channel. I've been binge watching episodes and really enjoy the mix of boater info, history tidbits, personal chatter, and all that gorgeous scenery. Thanks for taking us along on your travels.
Welcome aboard!
Loved this vlog and you showing us the beautiful countryside. Thank you lads 😊😊👍
Our pleasure! xxx
The drone shots are fantastic! I never knew about narrow boats till I read a series of mysteries set in Oxfordshire. The protagonist lives on a narrow boat..
Float on...
Thanks, Annick! 💜
Hi, Annick! Could I ask after the author? Sounds intriguing, and I'm ready for a bit of fresh reading! Ta!
Beautiful ride today! Thank you!
Our pleasure!
Show us food shopping and what you are cooking. It will fill your day. Thanks
We're not allowed to film in supermarkets. We've already shown Shaun cooking on a couple of videos 👍🏻
I just found your channel and I LOVE IT!!! Its the best of both worlds, educational and entertaining!!! Thank you for these videos!!!
Our pleasure! Welcome 🙏🏻
Nice drone work today!! Great video again 👍 stay safe...
Thanks, you too!
The surface indications of the abandoned medieval village are very interesting. I have noticed a number of equally old, if not older, indications in a few of your drone shots. from previous videos.
Interesting!
Stunning scenery as always, really enjoy watching all your vlogs x
Thanks so much 😊
What a fabulous vlog! The scenery, history, edit, the chat and love but the best part was your shorts! Stay safe.
Thanks so much, David!
Went passed me yesterday around 11ish on your way to Banbury... never seen a bloke inhale a pack of crisps so quickly!
Haha! Yes! My Cheesy Doritos 😂
@@FoxesAfloat I did get up to give you both a wave but was having a Skype meeting with work. Isn't the Tesco an easy shop from the canal! Take care guys :)
Dillon- what a character. Love him 😍
💜
Good job again this week, always a pleasure to catch up you guys. Keep working on that tan...
Oh, it's coming on nicely 😛
Another great video guys. Keep em coming and stay safe

Been following you guys for several weeks. I love the videos, the editing is wonderful and you are showing me things in the world I WOULD NEVER HAVE SEEN !!! Dillon is precious, love him. You are just a perfect loving couple. Can't wait to keep on watching. I am in Morganton, North Carolina, USA.....quite a ways or I'd come visit.....love you guys, take care
Awesome! Thank you!
I was supposed to have been back in the UK last May when this vlog came out. I had wanted to get back now, but will wait until things are more stable. Meanwhile vicariously enjoying the UK through your vlogs, thank you.
Next time!
Same for me. Feeling a bit homesick. But no travel allowed for a while :(
Lovely weather for a bit of a cruise! I truly enjoy the snippets of history.

Thank you! You too!
That was entertaining vlog set to some lovely music.....brilliant drone footage....stay safe......thanks for sharing
Thanks 👍
Galleries flash and depravity sounds like a dodgy solicitors. Mind you most solicitors are dodgy. Is the music from the you tube library? very well chosen wherever it comes from. You lads are keeping me going in the current upheaval thank you for continuing to be both informative and very entertaining.
Thanks, Duncan. No, we stopped using CZcams's Audio Library last year after the copyright fiasco.
I love watching your program and I would like to see how you cook on your boat I always hear that you're a good cook and I would like to see it and my name is Jeff I was a military cook 20 years MP for 3 years
I think Shaun will be doing some of that 👍🏻
Great vlog again with a lovely mooring AND TRAINS!
Many thanks!
Your editing is so good , its a joy to watch your channel, well done guys.
Thanks, Neil!
He has done a good job on your hair :)
haha! A natural! 😂
Those are 'Jorts", 'Daisy dukes' are 18 inches shorter.
Is Jorts actually a word though?
Love the little historical tid-bits. Thanks for your research and reporting.
Glad you like them!
Great vlog and chuckles along the way..perfect video!
Thanks, Andrew!
We all ready have a trash mountain it's in Virginia beach and is now a park.
😬
What's the deal with the landlocked boat @ 4:52?
Been there ages. Dug a ditch and plonked his boat there 😂
Finally got around to watching this weeks episode. I love these tales, and the visuals are always very awesome. Keep up the fantastic work guys, you have made my recovery so much more positive and incredible. I am now walking (I even snuck in a few short runs... against the drs orders), and I am hoping to discover my new normal. Cheers guys
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good to see you are both safe and well and enjoying this exceptional weather. You have picked a gorgeous part of the network for lock down and your footage, especially from the drone, is brilliant and informative. Everyday's a school day! As ever loved this vlog! X
Thank you kindly
A friendly swan looking for food.
👍🏻
This is #102 --- I didn't notice the milestone two vlogs back! CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for the life lessons & fun ʕ•́؈•̀ʔ
You are so welcome!
Right up there with your best. A great range of quirky anecdotes, (sets me some interweb homework, results of which I will remember for about a week), and the genteel beauty of The Old Dart to boot. Bonus points for plenty of Dillon glimpses, the wigwam and the narrowboat-in-a-ditch. Stay well, Foxes...
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video guys, just love the footage of your drone, beautiful scenery you shot above your narrowboat, your banter is excellent, stay safe,
Colin and Shaun
Thank you lovely! As always 💜
For some strange reason, you two remind me of Hong Kong Phooey and his ever reliable cat, Spot. I'll let you work out the casting yourselves....
😂😂😂😂
For your Groceries Problem I would sugest a bike hanger ( cargo trailer) . 78 cm x 61 cm x 50 cm, with the conecting bar 153 cm - Transportbox: 71 cm x 50 cm x 31 cm, about 90 Liter - load up to max. 80 kg. There are bigger ones but from what I hear from you this little one is more than enough. It shoul do the trick. New, costs here in Germany € 50, - 100, . if used , even less.
Stay healthy , stay Happy all the best.
Ah, thanks for the tip, and it's something we've considered, but we're not allowed to tow trailers on the canal towpath. Plus, it's too rocky, narrow, and muddy. To be honest, we've never needed it until that point and never had an issue since, but thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful and fascinating in equal measure..... Great job, guys......👍
Mike
Thank you very much!
Another brilliantly made vlog!
There hasn’t been a vlog you’ve done that I haven’t enjoyed watching! My wife even watched and enjoyed a few last week, and that’s saying something as our entertainment likes tent to be different.
Thank you so much 😁
Good Moaning...I was pissing by the door... Was that a landlocked canal boat at about 4:50? What's the story on that? And later you passed a tipi? What country are you in?
Haha! No idea about the landlocked boat but I’m sure someone will enlighten us before long.
Were you looking for a fallen Madonna with big boobies by any chance as you were pissing by the door?
That's my narrow boat fix, thanks guys
Our pleasure, Jason!
Love the history snippets, thank you both.Drone photos are the icing on the cake!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for another great video, some really interesting facts this week and a bit of greek music to have a dance to at the end.
Haha! Well done for watching to the end 😉
