- This season, this nest has rapidly worked its way up my list of favorites. I can't get enough of Baker & Bette - and today's video is a fine example of why.
Baker is such a sweet, dutiful guy, but it seems that he sometimes gets in Bette's way - and maybe on her nerves. đ Watch as the antics unfold. Poor Baker - first Bette whacks him upside the head with the cornstalk, then later - the epic battle of the big stick. All he wanted to do was help his gal with her cumbersome load, but this independent woman wanted none of it - and she sure let him know! đ

He loves her so much. Sweet guy. This nest is becoming my happy place.
Lol that's funny! And a cornstalk! Its neat to see that different nests have something different in or at their nests. Jackie and Shadow had a pine cone.
Maybe I'm odd, but yes - I do find it intriguing to observe the variety of nesting materials from place to place. :)
