Hungry eaglets! Don’t bite the hand that feeds you! May 31, 2024

Once you get past the garbage in the nest … 😳 It bothers me but doesn’t seem to upset the eagles. It usually comes in with a portion of some type of food mixed up in whatever the eagle clamps its talons on to. I would think that if it bothered the eagles they would just chuck it out.
Now for a little back story.
I have not seen much food brought in for the eaglets for at least a few hours or more. When Ellie arrives she brings in just a small portion of food the eaglets pounce on it. Sid gets it first but Vic quickly takes it away. What happens next surprised me. Vic shows aggression towards mom as she tries to manage the situation. Ellie obviously doesn’t want any part of this and flies away.
