Viggo is long overdue for awards. He’s such a talented actor - speaks many languages and can mimic any accent!

@@missionseven7972 It's amazing that some interviewers or talk show hosts don't do their homework, so to speak. This happens a lot in sports. The host just wings it and he thinks he is doing great but you can tell he is faking it.

Well the film he was clearly the lead or one of the two leads in won best picture so that's surely a personal win too. Apart from being nominated for the third time, and that already being the second Best Picture he's worked on.

The Oscars are overrated. Everyone loved his performance (just finished the movie). The "Academy" is not everyone.

Hands down, the best picture of 2018. Actors are gifted, story is brillant (and true!). Truely the story of adaptation of human beings, made even better by these characters. I absolutely put this on my lost of all time favorites (right with "To kill a Mockingbird"). Music is phenomenal, please give yourself the gift of going to experience this film.
By far one of the best interviews and Kevin McCarthy has obviously done his homework given the questions asked. Extremely well done, very professional and informative. Keep up the great work young sir.

Actually quite a similar structure to the two popes when you look at it.
So perfectly put! I've watched this movie over & over & it's still awesome to witness the beautiful bond develop between these two wonderful actors. The final scenes truly melt your heart 💜 Both deserving of Oscar!!
The poor interviewer still doesn‘t know if viggo was really driving in the chicken scene 😂😂😂😂

I don't go to the movies much at all but knew this one was spot on to see on Thanksgiving day and glad I did w/ dear friends. Indeed interviewer's question to Mahershala when he did the scene "I am not Black enough..I am not White enough" hit home for me being an adoptee had such a profound resonance of what I went through searching/finding my bio parents and after processing also my mixed roots and where do I fit in~ in life to discerning and healing the Family Triad, just speaking from my own perception.
This movie was a classic in the Human Spirit and so grateful for watching it and give thanks! Movies like this are far and few between touching a collective consciousness for greater good transcending to Heart Speak so precious!
I certainly did not expect this movie to be this good.....very emotionally stirring movie! I loved every minute of it!

Just saw the movie at my college theater. It was such a beautiful movie and these men are extremely talented. I loved watching Mahershala Ali in this role. He brought tears to my eyes.

So glad Kevin asked about the music. I was totally captivated throughout the film with the song choices so I made it a point to stay throught he credits. Lo and behold, the last song was Rich Woman by Li'l Millet and HIs Creoles, a song my father played tenor sax on in 1955. I was blown away!!!

Without this movie very few people of this current generation would have a clue of the amazing talent of Don Shirley, a man that took a big chance & the man that helped him to carry on.

Veego Morgensteen and Mohammed Ali are two exceptionally talented actors ( just joking about their names ) .... but totally serious about their outstanding and brilliant talents .
Didn't even realize this man was aragorn...he reminded me something but aragorn no way.Mind blown
Both were so good in this, Virgo we love in LOTR , so just to see him again..... protecting, he should always get pick for these type o roles, he did a pretty good job being an Italian back in the day, a little over done, but still believable, I would be an honor to work with peter Farley , dumb and dumber was that decades comic relief , yo!

I read about the green book years ago. I had no idea there was any more drama behind it other than the reason why it was necessary. I'm going to enjoy this movie.
What an incredible movie, two amazing actors. This is what we need more in cinemas.

A lot of ppl didnt remember the Green Book. My Gma would always mention it. She even had an original copy of the last 1 published in 1967. Im only 40 but knew about the Green Book in the early 90s. However, this movie DID introduce A LOT OF PPL to Dr. Shirely INCLUDING MYSELF.

Interesting, unusual and probing questions by a great interviewer and as a result, we hear interesting replies. Wonderful movie , loved every minute, both actors were fantastic but for me, Viggo really made it HIS movie. How hard must it be to act a personality and accent so different to your own and anything an actor has done before?! He was gorgeous and brilliant in LOTR but stunning performance in this!
