NK has little to lose. Like Russia, they are heavily sanctioned and isolated. They have weathered the worst from the west, and continue to survive. In effect, KJU has stood against the typhoon, removed his pantaloons, and mooned the storm. NK is a buffer state, and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

The blame of nuclear proliferation should therefore be place at the feet of the US.
