I can never understand why teams (and, let's face it...municipalities!) spend so much money and make such an effort to create ballparks that cater to people who are clearly not interested in going to a baseball game! There are restaurants, amusement parks, and sports bars all over the place that will give you the same experience you will get at this so-called "baseball park". With some of the highest average ticket prices in baseball, Fenway Park hosts nearly 3 million fans a year. For baseball and hot dogs and sausages and beer. Not an "entertainment zone" in sight. I agree with the fans who lament the lack of effort to invest in the on field product. Here in Boston the ownership seems hell bent on the Tampafication of the Red Sox. The attendance and ratings drops are going to change their mind right quick. Boston fans don't want brass, glass, pesto and fireworks. We want the beautiful baseball we have gladly shown up and paid dearly for for decades. Good luck to you, Guardians (Tribe!) fans. You deserve a winner. I might have been one of the two or three people outside of Ohio who was desperately rooting for you guys against the Cubs.
A bar and big screen TV's??? So, pay $100 a ticket to sit in a bar at the stadium? I could just stay home or go to a bar and save the ticket and parking prices. I don't get this at all.....
Most people that go to MLB games dont even watch the game. They are either talking, looking on their phone, walking around the concourse or standing in line for beer or snacks. May as well have a bar.
I am beyond excited for this!! I have hated those boxes in the upper section in right field since 2015 when they took out the seats. As much as everyone wants to crack on the Dolans I have two things to say: 1. They have been the most stable franchise in Cleveland and I thank them for that. 2. If they keep this team together and pay these players the people will come. Especially with Jacob’s Field being reimagined like this. Beautiful
Number 2 will never happen. Dolan does a great job on a shoestring budget. That bring said, they'll never win a championship against teams that go for it when close. Dolan never takes on salary to go for it.
@@PatrickRyan150 We literally just nearly beat the the highest budget team (Yankess) out of the playoffs with one of the lowest budget teams with all of our new players. Stop with your dumb comments
@Shortyzander13 Nearly only counts in horseshoes & hand grenades. They will never, ever, win anything. Only thing that matters is a World Series. Dolan said when they're close he'd spend the extra money, but NEVER has. LOSERS GET OUT OF CLEVELAND!
@Shortyzander13 I uses to be like you, but then I woke up & swore I'd NEVER go to a game again with baseballs unfair economics of the haves & have nots & I'm not paying to watch a bunch of platoon players that belong in the minor leagues.
I'm sure they need to do some renovations almost 30 years on and if this is what the people want--whatever! I'll just have a hot dog, a Bud, and a scorecard, please.
It’ll attract more group gatherings. This is the new norm for baseball stadiums. Cincinnati is like this and they get around 20,000 a game on weekends. It’s very enjoyable
Better keep a winning team on the field or half of those bars in the terrace areas will be closed...All of this will be great as long as fans show up and fill the stadium.
I don't get spending the money going to the game, then spending all the time in one of these bars, watching it on a TV. And the fact that with the pitch clock that the games are LOT shorter? I guess that's the life of the Cell Phone crowd...
New team name, new team look, new team stadium, John Adams has past away and once Tom Hamilton is fully retires the Cleveland Indians will be completely dead. RIP tribe, my team is gone. I guess I can join my family down in Cincinnati and root for The Reds.
It looks absolutely terrible. It says they KNOW they cannot fill the park, since the game has been ruined by all the goofy rules, and its very hard to invest in cheering to super rich woke owners, who harge enourmous sums to attend a game. Its not consistent with inflation over the years. Also so few Americans makes it very difficult for youth or adults to relate to foreugn players who do not live in state, let alone in your nation.
Bring back the Indians name and I'll be ecstatic! By the way, are fans going there to watch the game live or socialize? I don't understand. Am I missing something here. Too much energy put into everything but the team.
This video is fucking disturbing. The computer generated people at the ballgame are with other computer generated people. I don’t think they even know each other. Some folks are shown having conversations with other computer generated patrons that aren’t even there. They’re literally interacting with a blank space. I don’t know if I can support a ballpark renovation that caters to a computer generated army of emotionally-vapid NPC’s meant represent Cleveland Baseball. I hope you agree. Go Guards.
I think its funny how many people in this simulated video aren't even watching the game. You can accomplish the same thing by going to any local bar and you dont have to pay for a ticket. I'll never understand why people go to a game and don't even watch the actual game itself.
As nice and fancy it is.... Will take an old stadium any day.... As, is revealed...no one watching game.... 30% vs 100% Just major beer hubs, and corporate lounges Cleveland's old Brown's stadium and the "pound" in right field. Everyone was atuned to the game, football or baseball. Cheap beer too.
They need to tear Progressive Field down & move Progressive Insurance's headquarters to that spot. I'm tired of driving to Mayfield Heights & the Guardians will never win anything any how.
progressive field is the best stadium in baseball and bring bring back the chief. go tribe
Cleveland Indians FTW!

For all these small cities pro sports is their biggest claim to "legitimacy"

Progressive Field, Dolan saw to that name change too. Boy, they just love name changes

So.sad what they are planning to do. Junk up the seating bowl and asthetics even.more.

As long as the owner spends a little money
Looks very cool, but seems like we have awesome bars and restaurants... oh, don't forget a baseball game is playing.

The name is the o my thing that carrys a team for eternity, next step is to bring back the Cleveland Indians!
Im so hype for this....this looks great

Another 40 years I hope to be on this earth and can’t wait to see what the future holds
I love what they are doing as far as upgrades to progressive field ❤🎉
INDIANS 😱😱😱😱😱😱
no, I want every seat to be covered with a shipping container
Bring back the Indians name and I'll be ecstatic! By the way, are fans going there to watch the game live or socialize? I don't understand. Am I missing something here. Too much energy put into everything but the team.
They went to the ALCS. youngest team. What are you even blabbing about
I found the boomer!
@DollBarbiePlay LMAOOO learn some baseball, they lost in the ALDS didn’t even sniff the ALCS

Completely correct Andrew.
ololol
And none of the computer generated people are watching baseball!!!
