Your version of our history is too western version and now is now being disproven. Artifacts show natives wer making pottery with colors even before the chinese. Barangay system is democracy in its purest form. Studies native languages show the inhabitants were proto Austronesians meaning they fathered the Austronesian race from Taiwan to Madagascar. These inhabitants developed the first maritime tradition in the world. Foreign influences came as a result of these natives’ penchant for traveling and colonizing without occupying.
