Love these older deck videos, actually building this and gonna try out some others as well. The heymaker buzzapdos match was awesome but would like to see some other matches against other decks to see how they used to grind against each other. Keep em up!

I really like this series. A lot of my buddies from Chicago have gotten into retro format. Specifically 08-11 would love to see some sp/lv. X deck profiles! Love the content guys!!

Sad that this deck can't be built in the Gameboy Color game. That version of Electrode isn't in the game, probably because they couldn't figure out how to make it work mechanically within the game's code.
i love your videos about old school, do you have deck list or somenthig about fire water decks? or about pikachu venasour charizar decks? that would be great. very good job Tricky Gym

Awesome deck
Do we know why Zapdos became Growlithe/Arcanine? I understand the extra damage output, but seems like a lot considering you need to have 2 pokemon (growlithe and arcanine) vs the singular basic Zapdos. Zapdos is findable and benchable immediately whereas if you are missing Growlithe you need to go through a 1 turn wait before evolving...
is it because Arcanine can work off of a DCE?
What sleeves do you use for competitive play and are u going to the Collinsville regional
Is there any changes to this deck you would make if you were to update this to base-fossil format? I'm working on a deck gauntlet.

I'm guessing the Fossil Zapdos isn't as powerful, especially with a reliance on coin-flips. I've heard before about a mill deck using Moltres, have you ever seen anything about that?
moltres can be used to mill cards in fire decks yes !
