So many repeats even within Boxycharm themselves. I cancelled boxy back in Feb when that started and just recently cancelled Ipsy when prices went up and it wasn't worth it with the exchange rate anymore. Tempted to go back to Boxy but I think that's more because I miss the monthly treat to open more than anything.
At this point they are literally the same thing. It doesn't make sense for them to have two separate websites and brandings. I'm sure they're just trying to figure out the right way to bring down to one. I'm curious as to what percentage of customers have both. Anywho, love you! And I hope whatever it is you're going through becomes more manageable to navigate soon. I think you're doing great! And I haven't noticed any decline in quality or quantity of your content. For my wedding I did my own make up it lasted all day I put down revlon primer from the dollar store and then wet and wild foundation liquid then powder then I did an eyeshadow and Maybelline and Revlon Longware but I recommend just going with black heart which lasts as long it's from Hot Topic there's some of the best lip color you'll find go light on fats in your foods and your lipstick will last longer fat makes long wear lipstick smudge that's an oil's I just used a little bit powder blush and between powders do a setting spray and after every liquid product to a setting powder spray and then powder spray after every powder product and setting powder after every liquid product there is also a great eyeshadow product from P Luis or you could use primer or concealer for an eyeshadow base too but make sure you use very little I've been using make up for 30+ years so I remember when everything was powder and there was no setting powder or any of that or primer and you had to powder your nose every 10 minutes
If you do a makeup test run, make sure you also test it with flash photography, especially if you’re not used to setting powders. Some offer flashback and you don’t want to ruin your wedding pictures
I was going to say the same thing. It's very easy to forget about flashback - I've known experienced MUAs to forget to do a check before going out and looking like they've been up to no good in photographs. 😂
Not sure if someone has already said this or not but I believe the bendable mascara wands became more popular the last few years and were specifically targeted at people with disabilities or diseases that affect fine motor skills. While I personally agree with you that I’d like my mascara wand to be sturdy, it’s nice to know that makeup brands are becoming more accessible. 😊

The Nymph Nectar is fine, just melted and crystallized. If you heat it up in a pot of hot water and then stir it til it cools it should be fine. This is apparently from Earth Harbor themselves and sometimes happens in the back and forth from hot and cold
Yeah its got a super low melting point like coconut oil so it probably melted some in the mail and resolidified weird but it's a super nice product so it's worth fixing :)
If you want a really good primer for your wedding that really holds your makeup in place, try the primer from Elf that is green and in a tube with a pump. I can’t think of what it’s called right now, maybe power grip??? It’s literally the best primer I’ve ever used. I have oily skin and between that and a good setting spray, my makeup doesn’t budge, even on a hot, humid Georgia day.

I haven't heard of Give Them Lala, but the Juice brand is a good brand and very expensive. Just a fair warning though Manny's setting spray is awful, it literally pulls makeup right off my face. About 2 min after I had sprayed it, it made my makeup melt off.

But my life has been so down and hectic and I’ve been super depressed this past year, and I’m so happy when you upload because it’s a 20-30 minute distraction from the sadness and lifts me up. The peachy face stuff probably has sea buckthorn fruit in it, its a great ingredient. Have you ever tried a Korean skincare subscription box? I feel like I would have seen it if you had. You should, I'd love to see what comes in them.
I don’t trust boxy anymore! In my most recent two of the products were legit but the other three were sketchy. I googled the brand name of the sketchy products and only got results from websites of the same name and the boxycharm site. I think they buy stuff from Alibaba, repackage them and create a new “brand”under the boxy name. The two sketchy products I got this month were “Basic Beauty” lip liners and a highlighter by “Aesthetica”.
That’s exactly what I think too! They must have watched one of those CZcams infomercials on how to make passive income and quit your job and then decided to rebrand Alibaba items as suggested. 🫤
Qveen is singer Qveen Herby's brand. I love her! She used to be known as "Karmin" back in the day you should check her out! Qveen beauty is definitely a legitimate brand!
You should practice the wedding look with those cream products just to try out the cream/powder method and then as long as you like it and it has longevity you can buy the ones the makeup artist recommends. Just a thought. Great video!
leave in conditioner works great when you apply it to soaking wet hair. i apply mine like while i'm in the shower. i kinda spray and spread it over my fingers and rake it through the ends first and then up, but you can even wide tooth comb it in after. the extra water helps it spread evenly and also not weigh your hair down too much because it's a bit more diluted.
Love that you keep the packing materials to reuse later! My husband has his own business & I always give him the bubble wrap from my Colourpop packages (cause it's his favorite type) & any other mail I get, so he can use it to pack orders for his customers. If you're looking for really nice cream products that are not too fussy, I love Salt New York. Also, they all have a little glow so you can get a the dewy look you've been looking for. They have lots of different types and shades, and you can choose what you like and stick them in any magnetic pallet, they also sell a nice magnetic palette good for travel.
The Ofra pallet is a beautiful selection of blushes, paired with their highlight. If you were to use the cream blush you got, sheer it out with a sponge, wait a few minutes, then lightly dust on a blush from the Ofra pallet... you'll get a sustainable, beautiful blush. You can also use the dual ended liquid eyeshadow as a "base". Build on the matte shadow, then use the shimmer as a base for a different powdered shimmer or glitter shade. You can also sheer out all the cream face products with a sponge after dotting the color where you want it.
That Item Beauty eye thingy just reminded me that in high school I would layer up the black eye shadow and then top it with literally Chapstick or Wet n Wild lip gloss. I guess I forgot I was in the Midwest and thought I was walking a French runway.

That is how the Earth Harbor product is supposed to look I've got it before and a little beads end up dissolving into your skin I wear it more like a mask but I did like it something different anyways LOL

I too keep all the packaging I material get from my packages to reuse when I ship my stuff lol unfortunately I get more packages than I send out so I have a mountain of packaging material
i have the alleyoop stack in a different shade and i love it so much! it's become a daily essential just since getting it in my box in july. the products aren't too pigmented so they're super user friendly and i just love the formula, it melts into your skin and is easy to apply with brushes, sponges, or fingers. it's so quick and easy to make look good. i hope you give it a shot because i just adore it :)
I LOVE the Rodial glass primer, its shimmery/glowy and helps smooth the look of pores on the skin AND its like sticky so it feels like your foundation sticks to it... And then on top of that if you just put it on like your cheek bones and T zone, like you would normally highlight, and let it dry... It dries to a nice weightless powdery feel. It stays put and gives you some glow without wearing makeup. I literally wear it everyday

That earth harbor looks like that and it is some of the best stuff for almost anykinda skin rash idk how or why but i had a rash under my chest and it cleared up overnight with that nymph nector and i have used it for a couple years and will continue to repurchase it. And i have guvennit to family & friends with skin problems!!!

I have one tiny complaint and that's when you are trying to show us a close up of a product, just as your camera is about to focus, you move the product. So, we never really get to see a clear shot of it. Other i am really enjoying watching your videos.
The Alleyoop cream cheek trios r so good!! I bought the other shade o could wear in addons. I used fingers for the entire thing and it looks so good and natural on the face. It's now my go to quick out the door makeup.
With skincare you do your toner, essence, serums, creams followed by your oil to lock all into place. Try to leave 5minutes between steps to allow it to penetrate the skin

Abandoned pond is actually quite useful I personally struggle getting the inner corners of my eyes so to have something where I could still feel part of it on the top of my lashes but managed to get the unicorn I would be very useful
yep knew this would happen when ipsy and boxycharm got together, the nector was from last years boxycharm so it seems they are using last years stuff in this years box. be careful not sure if that is not expired.
May I suggest that you use some individual false lashes, just at the end of your eye, for your wedding day. It makes such a big difference and really makes the eyes stand out.
One thing the pros do is take a similar or darker color powder eyeshadow to set the liquid? Idk if it works but I've seen the big muas do that I think 🤔

leave in conditioner works great when you apply it to soaking wet hair. i apply mine like while i'm in the shower. i kinda spray and spread it over my fingers and rake it through the ends first and then up, but you can even wide tooth comb it in after. the extra water helps it spread evenly and also not weigh your hair down too much because it's a bit more diluted.
I apply mine in the shower also and my hair loves it! So much lighter weight and still nourishing
Love that you keep the packing materials to reuse later! My husband has his own business & I always give him the bubble wrap from my Colourpop packages (cause it's his favorite type) & any other mail I get, so he can use it to pack orders for his customers. Also, we got our Helix mattress over a year ago after seeing your ad & we love it so much ^-^ I've been trying to get my dad to buy one haha I told him I could get him a discount & free pillows!

You actually can shop their sales now without being a member. I bought a lip oil two pack from their mega drop shop last month yet I've never been a subscriber.
Not only is it the same old stuff, but the prices in the sales have went way up!! Plus they charge a random $1.99 handling fee for every order now. That is why I quit glam bag. I used to love to buy samples to try. Now the $2 samples are $3 plus $1.99 handling fee, making them $5 tiny samples. Haven’t missed it!

Love the nymph balm it is suppose to look like that it has an exfoliating property I love this stuff. I use it at night on top of my night cream.
Lunar Beauty has one of the *best* formulas out there. I love everything I own from the brand.
Nymphs are mythological water spirits, so it makes more sense for the balm to be blue than orange, honestly.
In Ancient Greek mythology, nymphs are basically just minor deity’s. Circe for example is the daughter of Helios, the sun god. Her mom Perse is a water nymph though 😊.
I paid for the premium but got a base box. I’m glad the base was better than the premium but that’s not the point lol and they have gave me the same thing a lot then they just give me charm room credits but not enough to actually get anything like wtf

Earth harbor makes a gel moisturizer (theyre one of the brands that got screwed from AllTrue and I decided fo support them directly) called Cloudburst that my oily skin is LOVING this summer
If you're looking for really nice cream products that are not too fussy, I love Salt New York. Also, they all have a little glow so you can get a the dewy look you've been looking for. They have lots of different types and shades, and you can choose what you like and stick them in any magnetic pallet, they also sell a nice magnetic palette good for travel.
The Ofra pallet is a beautiful selection of blushes, paired with their highlight. If you were to use the cream blush you got, sheer it out with a sponge, wait a few minutes, then lightly dust on a blush from the Ofra pallet... you'll get a sustainable, beautiful blush. You can also use the dual ended liquid eyeshadow as a "base". Build on the matte shadow, then use the shimmer as a base for a different powdered shimmer or glitter shade. You can also sheer out all the cream face products with a sponge after dotting the color where you want it.
That Item Beauty eye thingy just reminded me that in high school I would layer up the black eye shadow and then top it with literally Chapstick or Wet n Wild lip gloss. I guess I forgot I was in the Midwest and thought I was walking a French runway.
I really like the juice beauty serum but it is VERY scented. Kinda like Pine Sol 💜
The foam is great for cleaning shadow brushes in-between different shadow colors.

i have the alleyoop stack in a different shade and i love it so much! it's become a daily essential just since getting it in my box in july. the products aren't too pigmented so they're super user friendly and i just love the formula, it melts into your skin and is easy to apply with brushes, sponges, or fingers. it's so quick and easy to make look good. i hope you give it a shot because i just adore it :)
I LOVE the Rodial glass primer, its shimmery/glowy and helps smooth the look of pores on the skin AND its like sticky so it feels like your foundation sticks to it... And then on top of that if you just put it on like your cheek bones and T zone, like you would normally highlight, and let it dry... It dries to a nice weightless powdery feel. It stays put and gives you some glow without wearing makeup. I literally wear it everyday

That earth harbor looks like that and it is some of the best stuff for almost anykinda skin rash idk how or why but i had a rash under my chest and it cleared up overnight with that nymph nector and i have used it for a couple years and will continue to repurchase it. I've been going through your videos after recently finding your channel. I love how honest and pure you come across as. I have one tiny complaint and that's when you are trying to show us a close up of a product, just as your camera is about to focus, you move the product. So, we never really get to see a clear shot of it. Other i am really enjoying watching your videos.
The Alleyoop cream cheek trios r so good!! I bought the other shade o could wear in addons. I used fingers for the entire thing and it looks so good and natural on the face. It's now my go to quick out the door makeup.
With skincare you do your toner, essence, serums, creams followed by your oil to lock all into place. Try to leave 5minutes between steps to allow it to penetrate the skin

Abandoned pond is actually quite useful I personally struggle getting the inner corners of my eyes so to have something where I could still feel part of it on the top of my lashes but managed to get the unicorn I would be very useful

yep knew this would happen when ipsy and boxycharm got together, the nector was from last years boxycharm so it seems they are using last years stuff in this years box. be careful not sure if that is not expired.
May I suggest that you use some individual false lashes, just at the end of your eye, for your wedding day. It makes such a big difference and really makes the eyes stand out.

I have been with Boxy for years and swore I would never cancel. However, since the buyout they are a joke! They jacked up shipping, prices on pop up’s and send a bunch of left overs from Ipsy.
