This is such a beautiful love story of Bernie Mac. It is sad with all his hard beginnings, he couldn't enjoy all the success of his latter life, with his passing at a young age. Yet in his latter life, he was filled, lived a fulfilling life, and that is what counts. "I will make your latter days, greater than your former days, and God did it.
And I'm glad he had the experience of have a true love mate, in his life, which was a blessing.
I'm happy for Rhonda that she has found a new love. "It's not good for man, or woman to be alone". She has proven her love for Bernie Mac, and sometimes it just may take another love interest, that will get your heart back to healing again, because I know she was broken behind his death. It was just so shocking, and unexpected, to the world hearing if his death, for one thing his young age, but also because we never saw him sick, just up, healthy, on the go. It was just unbelievably sad.

I still miss Bernie, I met him at a steak house here in Chicago where I worked as a waitress at back in 2002 and he was so sweet and told me if I stay humble and keep that beautiful smile on my face, you will be blessed with a good husband. A year after that, I met my future husband and we've been happily married for 16 years now.

Bernie Mac was and still is one of the most iconic human beings to ever exist, not only in Hollywood but in real-life. Crazy how his career began to blossomed when he got to his 30’s, especially having remarkable minor roles in films/movies. That goes to show that there isn’t an age requirement for you to be successful. You can be successful at any age, whether it’s in your earlier years or later years. I also love how his beautiful wife was there for him through it all. Even after his unfortunate passing, she has found love again. Wish her and Mac’s daughter nothing but love and blessings in their life. Bernie Mac was an incredible man who left too soon…😔💔😭 his story most definitely deserves respect and the acknowledgment. May he rest peacefully above the clouds with the rest of his loved ones.

My daughter was born in 2012 and we used to watch that Bernie Mac show together. She was so devastated when we told her he passed away before she was born. True Icon! May he rest in peace.
😢wow isn't that something... My daughter was born in 2007 and once she started watching old shows of Bernie Mac it was over😂 I let her watch before bedtime... When I say she was obsessed with his comedy and of course the children.. I just remember one Christmas We surprised her with the whole dvd collection of the TV show... She was also devastated to learn that he died and just trying to figure out how /why... She would always act out the skits around the house and be so funny😅 she had Bernie's part down packed and walk around talkin just like with The walk and everything which in turn helped her to be brave and start acting herself ❤️Thanks Bernie🙏 for great memories and bringing laughter and love in my household.... I also lost my husband too a few years ago 31 Beautiful,Blessed years. And I also understand where his wife is at especially if you're young enough.. and you really don't have a choice but to start on your own by yourself 😢 eventually you have to continue your life and move forward despite what anybody says..

I still Love Bernie Mack and watch his re-run shows, laughing as hard today as yesteryears. It's good for a widow/widower to find a new love. Many die from a broken heart or loneliness. Bernie was okay with it and she lives on happy and as a grandma. Love & Light.

Never followed Bernie because comedy wasn't in my interest after Jesus Christ saved me. But I have heard of him. Even now, if I see a comedian on a video, I must quickly turn away (particularly if there's profanity). I grew up listening to Eddie Murphy and used to really laugh. Now, I don't listen to those same profanity filled skits. Nevertheless, God stills fills me with His joy and laughter.

I love the fact that comedians of today still pay homage to his legacy just as they do the same for Redd fox Richard Pryor etc this is testament to his craft and his character. He truly did touch the lives of everyone that he encountered and his memory will thrive in our hearts forever.
I remember Bernie use to go to the same nail salon I went to outside of Chicago he was so down to earth he wasn’t Hollywood like the potato man , he would engage in conversation while getting his pedicure with all of us regular folks , he would say he was regular

I know many think Rhonda moved on too quickly but Horace shared the same grief as she did. They probably helped each other through the difficult losses. Death isn't easy on loved ones and it takes much strength to move on. RIP to a legend

My therapist stated that people grieve in different ways. There is no set limit of time relative to moving on. People should do what is right for them.

My mom had sarcoidosis. It’s a weird disease. She passed away out of nowhere and I still don’t know why but I remember she would always watch the Bernie Mac show. He was like the first vlogger. I’m so glad to see his wife is happy getting over somebody once they crossed over to the other side is extremely hard and no one needs to judge her if Berni came to her in a dream he probably really truly did. my mom visits me in my dreams all the time. I’m very happy to see that she’s happy.

I worked at the hospital where/while he died. My co worker saw him on the elevator. He said to her “ hey sweetie…”. I also met Jordan (from the Bernie Mac show) the weekend of his funeral. Nice kid.

I met Mr Mack in Miami in the hotel our team was staying . I had a football game the next day. Several of us stayed up all night talking to him. We didn’t care about the game because we knew moments like this don’t come around too often. That was in the late 90s and I remember it like it was yesterday! Thank you Mr Mack for spending time with us and giving us knowledge.

My mother died in 2018 i hadn't laughed in over a year i opened you tube a Bernie's video about black funerals popped up, i laughed so hard for the first time in over a year. Bernie was long gone but his gift of laughter is still with us. To this day the #1 comedian of this time. ❤ I love you Bernie God Bless you on the other side. I loved Bernie Mac and attended his memorial taken there by a new friend as she always referred to herself. It was beautiful. We sat by Chris Rock, my friend beside him and me next to her. I was a little star struck but kept it to myself. I felt very sad for his widow and family. His comedy and love for his family, friends and fans will live forever.
This made me shed a tear.... There were few like Bernie Mac... He was a MAN... All about his family and just doing what was right... My mom has sarcoidosis and it's a hard disease... He died so young but he left his MARK on this world. Ain't nobody like the Mac man...

Bernie Mac was like a godfather to my oldest son I didn't originally even know he famous he was so genuine and true and when he passed away my son who was now an adult man cried his eyes out I couldn't console him from the moment he found out that Bernie was sick. He loved his wife unconditionally so when people criticized her moving on it angered me, because all he ever wanted was for his family to be forever happy and he would have wanted Rhonda to be forever happy❣💯We miss Bernie Mac no lie💜

I read his autobiography waaaay before he died. He and Rhonda have been together since high school and they've always been close. I really had a lot of respect for him when I heard on The Kings of Comedy tour, he went to his room at the end of the show whearas the other comedians partied😏
My gfriend and I were extras on Heads of State. We were doing the ballroom shoot. I whispered "who you wit". He came over and said hello to us. I asked where was everyone hanging out in Baltimore and he said naaaw babygirl I'm headed back to my room. People can't talk about you when the have no material. Miss his realness soooo much! 😢😢😢❤❤❤

The King's of Comedy show was my first time going. I actually went to see Cedric the Entertainer, and he was okay. I'd never heard of Bernie before that night, and when he walked out, it was just something different. I actually fell out of my chair laughing on that dirty ass floor but I genuinely couldn't control the laughter--and I was not alone. 🤣🤣 He really was just something special. This story hit me right in the allergies. 😭

I loved me some Bernie Mac, there was something about him, he was the crazy, fun, favorite uncle that had to be at the family gatherings, otherwise you didn't want to go. His passing hit me hard, rest in peace my brother. God bless you Wanda, live in happiness, Bernie seemed to be a person who wanted that for you.

Damn...my heart is breaking even more than it already is..Bernie Mac and his wife are special people..they were grown ups when it came to things like this..we can learn alot from them..my dad died a few years ago and I believe we buried our mother also it just took a few years for her to truly follow him..I miss them both every day..I loved them and took care of them..I feel like it's my time to follow them cause at the time my mom was slowly leaving this life I was suffering a big heart break of my own..funny how you're able to love a woman and her young son so much..I've been suffering from depression since the age of 17 and I spend my time hurting not wanting to do anything anymore..wanting to end my life cause I'm so sad every day I was on the phone with my aunt and I just started crying and screaming out cause I'm hurting so bad..I'm going to leave this place..this thing called life so I don't have to hurt anymore...I admire my parents and Bernie Mac and his wife..all I ever wanted was a love that they had...
God still have thing for you to do. Your Dad and Mother journey is not your journey. I lost my husband and Mother a year apart from each other. I am still here. Because God have thing for me to do is to spread His love around. Be encourage today and thank God for His grace. Jesus already paid the price.❤

I use to watch the Bernie Mac Show" and I still watch the reruns. It's one of my favorite shows. Bernie left us too soon. Rhonda was my classmate at Ryder in junior high. She was pretty and smart and we were good friends. I'm glad that she is doing well.

What a beautiful story. Now these are the type of men that you ride or die for. Not the person who wouldn’t work themselves to the bone to provide. But the type of man who has a vision, is going to work with you, and be faithful throughout it all. She supported him and he support her. That’s a difference. It’s not 50-50. It’s 100-100. EACH person giving their all. Sometimes we put so much importance into someone who wouldn’t do the same for us.

What I love is how even when he became successful, he stayed with the same woman. He didn't start off struggling and then as soon as he gained something left her for "something different", as you know a lot of these men in Hollywood do. Mainly our culture.
I miss him so much. I still watch the BERNIE Mac show. No other comedian could touch him, except Richard Pryor. He was great.......

I truly enjoyed this bio. You kept everything on a positive note. Keep up the good work. As far as his wife remarrying. I have noticed. When a couple had a good marriage. They do tend to remarry. I'm glad she found happiness once again.
Bernie was the G.O.A.T. He is missed so much. His wife is an exceptional woman. So very supportive from beginning to the end of his life. I couldn't imagine the love of my life passing away. God blessed her with another husband & I pray they remain happy & blessed. She so deserves it.
