I hope the Hawaiian Congress people show up for Local Kine Grinds and support a Hawaii business.
Be awesome to see L&L BBQ become a Nationwide chain. It's Tasty Hawaiian comfort food and it's price point should do well anywhere.
BBQ Chicken plate or a Chicken Katsu with Gravy with Hawaiian Mac Salad are so yummy. Brings good memories for Hawaiians living on the Mainland.
FYI, Joy....Sugar cane fields/plantations(1820s) came b4 pineapple fields(1850s)

How burnt you like your spam?
Him = yes.
I love almost all cuisine that is available in America, and I think it's really super cool that this guy
is bringing some Hawaiian cuisine to the mainland that is not typically available from coast to
coast BUT as far as pushing the hyphenated heritage in this video---such as Chinese-Americans
and so on, WHY do that?? We all have a FOUNDING heritage from afar such as most European
descendants who are now just dubbed as WHITE Americans........why do you always hyphenate
OTHER Americans with their ancestors originating heritage, even though they were BORN here
in America?? Those employees are AMERICAN, period.....stop with the hyphenating.....this is
what causes division among us as a society---in AMERICA, we're all AMERICANS....I guarantee
that over in CHINA, for example, an American MIGRANT, or who's born there to their American
parents, doesn't get called an American-Chinese. This is deliberate news & govt & EDU crap to
to push the American Heritage and tradition to the curb or under a shade tree. I love all people
& I love all cuisine but stop with the bs of hyphenating the AMERICAN HERITAGE.....those folks
should be MOST proud of their AMERICAN heritage that has AFFORDED them FREEDOM &
and a better future, than their family's originating heritage did which is why their ancestors came
here in the first place right, which is what this guy said----a better future for future generations??
So why then, are people being groomed to put America second? Chinese-American should be
American-Chinese, IF it's necessary to hyphenate. I get it, the news is scripted as a propaganda
machine with an agenda to MOLD how folks think......this was written about and as part of the
1917 takeover of the news system. There is a gross plot to use migrants and culture to throw
shade to the founding culture-----as it is written. It's sick because we can have both tradition &
other cuisine, without division but so much effort is being made to TRASH American tradition.
Even the founding faith & morals of the Bible which we became rooted in, are shaded, but not
the other cultural beliefs that have been introduced through migration----imagine if someone's
foreign beliefs were attacked....instead, it's always the Christian, founding faith, that's attacked
for what they believe. Anyhow, I will def go check out this restaurant.....I enjoyed the Hawaiian
cuisine when I vacationed in Hawaii and found that it's not easy to find the cuisine here on the
mainland, at least not on the east coast. Thanks for sharing.......I've already bookmarked the
website!
most of the dishes are *NOT Hawaiian cuisine* , BUT 'local dishes from Hawaii'. Nothing on the L and L menu would be considered Hawaiian cuisine, though the kalua pig with cabbage is the closest to being true Hawaiian cuisine. If it were just all kalua pig (no cabbage, then this would be authentic Hawaiian cuisine)
@@hawaiiguy1 Thanks, good to know. I guess I'll have to go back to Hawaii for the
real deal---still want to check them out! ❤
