Hi , I am helping my sister who would like to travel to EU from UK but I am little late to find this video..
She filled in the form yesterday and there she mentioned value ‘1’ while filling the detail of ‘ number of stays planned in France for the coming year’. We interpreted that field as ‘number of stays in France in next calendar year excluding the stay in this calendar year’. She has plans to stay in France twice (one in 2024 and another in 2025).
Now once the application is submitted ,I am afraid if that can be changed to 2?

Yes it can’t be changed now. This is tricky now as they look at the application to give single or multiple entry. I can suggest to add a cover letter mentioning you would like to visit again next year or maybe do multiple trips. But it’s upto the visa officer to decide.
If you haven’t found an appointment and would like to fill the form with different number try that route.

If you have used the form number to take an appointment then it might be difficult to change it. I assume you have also payed for the appointment?
Hi I’m applied for France visa for me and my daughter but I accidentally submit my application but not my daughters application. Would that be a probable? I know u have mentioned in this video must book appointment first before submitting application. And the another thing is it right that there is no appointment slot available? Our tickets and accommodation already booked for end of October hope will be able to get an appointment before then 🤞🏼

Aww that’s an honest mistake really! Hope you can still submit your daughters application.
Regarding the appointments, yes lately France appointments have been a crisis. I know some people got an appointment for early July just last week when they were checking casually. I would urge you to check the website frequently (early morning 8-10am, afternoon 2-3pm) I have often seen they release some slots near to these timings.
I also believe that once the Olympics season is over there will be more appointment slots with France. Fingers crossed.

Should I bring my bank statement and the necessary documents with me when going for appointment or I will provide that online after I'm done with the appointment.

I am not aware of the agent process.
But I would suggest taking a copy of all supporting documents on the day of the appointment. The visa officer will ask for the copies to keep on your file that will be submitted.

Hi 👋 Yes the France appointment is a real problem right now. Apparently there are no slots till mid April. I checked yesterday a couple of times too. I suspect this is due to olympics being held in Paris. It’s a busy time for them.
I generally check around 830am 1030am. Use to see slots till January but haven’t seen any since.
Consider applying from another embassy, Spain or Netherlands or Switzerland.

Hi 👋 I don’t think there is any problem if you have completed the submission ( they recommend you to ideally book appointment first). But am sure you will have the FRA number to make appointments with you anyway.
I have never been in this situation before, but if I was I would just call the customer support and ask about it.
The reason you are not seeing any slots is because there are no slots. I was trying myself two days back and saw no available slots 😔
So its not coz you have submitted, the France appointment has gone wild with summer approaching.

Yes you can mention that in a letter (sponsorship /financial support letter) from your husband to the visa officers mentioning you are on a career break and he will cover everything. You will need to submit his bank statements as part of your applications that will prove financial stability and can prove he is capable of taking care to both of your expenses during the trip. Yeah it’s confusing how they write it,
It’s basically travel health insurance (a health insurance for while you are travelling to different countries)
So that if you fall sick in a new country you will have sone health insurance to cover your expenses.

I would say if you are there for a week keep as much as you can in your account.
If you can show you have at-least 1-2 months of your salary saved in your account you should be good.

Hello 👋 you should apply to France if you will will travel to France and then Netherlands. I would say submit both your trip details if you have it, if not then just submit France (if you are applying via France) but mention you need a Multi entry visa.
You can also add that in a cover letter. (See my cover letter video if you need help)
Regarding travelling in your own, yes you can drive, take a bus or train or a flight to reach the Schengen country. Hope this helps

Hi 👋 . You need a confirmed return ticket while applying the visa. I won’t suggest to take risks with a confirmed ticket and book something that can be cancelled or refunded. We have never used dummy tickets as sometimes it can land you in trouble. Hope this helps!

They have asked whether I will be travelling to any other member states or territories. I have a plan to visit other Schengen countries as well, such as Denmark and Greece. Hi! That question is for France, check the options there you will not be able to find other countries.
If you are travelling to other countries apart from France, mention the travel details in your itinerary.

@@rajmohan311 hi! The slots have become a problem this year due to high demand for olympics. I have been watching the page since Feb and haven’t seen a slot so far. I am myself considering applying from another Schengen country Spain or Switzerland. A couple friend applied from Greece and got 6 months visa. So I suggest applying from another other Schengen country where appointments are available.

Try to call the customer support number they used to help earlier but now they don’t support that. But still you could call and check.

The customer support team had stopped this support, I would still recommend to call and ask once.
If they cannot edit it, explain this error in your cover letter.
It’s an honest mistake and hopefully it won’t have any impact on your visa outcome. Good luck 🤞

Don’t use a new form, instead call the support see what they say ask for their suggestion and use a cover letter. Let me know how it goes.
When do we pay the visa fee, at the tls center? Or i have to pay it now before i go to the center
Hi 👋 you have to pay the visa fee and service fee at the centre on the day of your appointment. When we applied our visa in 2022 that is how we payed.
As far as I know the fee has increased but the process is still the same. Hope this helps!
Hi, Happy New Year. I had asked a couple of queries on one of your last videos and your responses really helped me out. I have started the process for applying for my Italian visa but I'm not sure of whether to select single entry or multiple entry option. I have booked a multi country tour which would be staying at Italy for the longest duration. However we will be visiting the Vatican in between and returning to Italy. Does this mean I select multiple entry? Or it's still a single entry visa as it's all in the same duration of the single tour? As always, appreciate the help and look forward to your next video. Great! Sounds like a good plan with the multi country tour. Vatican is very beautiful and we visited last year when we went to Rome. If you are in Rome, buses/cabs will take you to Vatican its hardly 15- 20 min away.
In your current question, where you have a multi-country tour plan for x days, it would mean you are entering the Schengen area, visiting multiple countries and exiting the Schengen area to come back to your home country, in this case you don't need a multi entry visa. Italy single entry visa would be enough to do this trip. The visa will expire after this trip and you will have to apply again if you want to travel to Europe.

If you have booked something you should show the proof. We did not show proof for more than 1 trip. You can use a cover letter to say you will do more trips this year to x,y countries etc. You can check my cover letter video if you need help to write it.

@@TVJMar no issues. We visited for three days, we got a 6 month multi entry visa on the first time when we applied. And for a year when we applied for the second time.

No it’s not necessary to book everything before starting the application. You can fill the application first as well, one important thing you need to keep in mind while filling the form is your travel dates. The dates that you use on your application, you would need to show bookings for those dates.
So don’t book but keep an idea of the dates before starting to fill the application, also check travel costs etc.

You could choose flight, train, ferry depending on your budget. When we used Eurostar we booked in advance so it was cheaper, we didn't use any passes.
