I am trying to book an appointment for Schengen Visa (Short Term - Type C) however all time slots are fully booked up until February and no reservation booking has been released from march onwards.
I have partially paid for my flights and hotel but not fully. I’ve confirmation email from the airline and hotel.
I don’t want to be in position where I don’t get visa on time and losing holiday payment on the other side.
Do I need fully paid ticket to get visa?

We have an appointment for italy visa at Edinburgh on the 21st July. Just noticed that the Bank doesn't show the middle name( second part of the first name, ie instead of Richard may Davies it shows Richard Davies) as in the passport. As the travel insurance also comes as part of bank account benefit it also shows the same.

I have applied for a European tour package through an agency in Kerala for the period from May 4, 2024, to May 13, 2024, covering Italy, Vatican, Switzerland, and France, with departure from Bengaluru via Kuwait. Italy is the first country and the destination with the longest stay.
Upon reviewing my visa application, I noticed discrepancies between the dates and countries listed on the application and those outlined in my tour itinerary. The visa application encompasses visits to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy from May 2 to May 11, 2024. Consequently, a France Schengen visa for 45 days was issued, valid from May 2, 2024, to June 16, 2024, for multiple entries.
So is there any issue at Immigration/Check in counter while traveling to Italy on May 4th.?

Single entry is only one time you can enter Schengen area or France. You can travel to any Schengen countries without exiting the Schengen area.
Once you exit the Schengen area you cannot re enter again.
For multiple entry you enter the Schengen area a multiple times as mentioned in the visa

If you go to another country than the one you applied for in the first time (eg if you applied for France but go to Netherlands before France) chances are they might stop you at the border. While the visa is technically valid but it depends on the border guard, they might deny entry.
You can go to another country but u should have the evidence of booking to France that u will go to France in the same trip

You have to keep checking everyday but don’t check too many times in a say as that will block access to the website until the next day. They tend to update appointments around 1pm/2pm UK time. I managed to book and appointment very soon, just two days. So keep checking

It’s the tourist visa. Second time You can enter through any of the country in Schengen area. You don’t have to show any Accomodation or itenary when u enter the second time
