2016-2020 was the best era for c ops..even when it was toxic and full of noobs I'd rather play with those kinds of players as long as it was fun...now, the game is dying and is underrated, I used to be addicted to this game and I'd played this for hours non-stop! Such great memories..❤️

this game have so much potential...been playing this game since 1 critical pass(1months before the pass came out)...and i still play it daily...i hate theres so many maps but we dont get to play all of them(customs are dead as this game lost over 70-75% of its player base)

I was a beta tester back in 2014-2015, the game was very basic and it was only on PC, on their site that could only be accessed by a few people. I remember applying for it because I've been playing their older similar title which was Critical Strike. Pretty fun times back then, I also redownloaded it a few months ago and noticed that my old nickname from back then which was 'razz' is still in the credits for the beta testers, pretty neat.
I didn't play back then, but it sounded like fun

Man oh the nostalgia. This hits fucking hard . I joined c-ops at the end of 2016 . It was the first ever shooting type fps game I have ever played . Sticked with it since 2020 till our clan leader died irl ( rip ) . I re-downloaded a few months ago and grinded till diamond but left again because of too much pressure and busy life . Man I remember sniping in the old brewery and the campers in boilers with shotgun spawntrapping . Those were the days .

Childhood game good memories
The downfall of this game was:
1)They changed crouch which changed game mechanics alot and new character models were very fat.
2)No sensable content creators..only Rooghz was an actual content creator... Rest of the creators talked shit about game which made community more toxic and disrespectful towards the game
3)No esports... Every game needs esports scene to survive for long time but cops did nothing in that aspects which resulted in every player quitting the game.
Cops had many good pro players who had great following like jokesta, Strong, Angel and many more but they all left

I once loved this game, but stopped playing it after I grinded credits for critical pass in season 1, bought it and was unable to complete missions, because I couldnt join servers with people on them. lost time and credits :((

Critical ops was at its prime at 1:50 and started dying at 2:50 when every match was on division AKA worse bureau. The quickplay feature killed player interaction and with AR15, vector and scar the game is unplayable

0:11 well critical ops actually started after game anarchy completely shut down the critical strike servers and leaked the source code so they made the critical ops even then the company actually acquired the game from igor levochkin who left a few years ago
