    *Fun facts*
The very first shot of the movie that was shot was with Buddy walking in the Lincoln Tunnel. The crew literally sent Will Ferrell and a cameraman down the tunnel and the two had to be smooshed against the wall with real cars passing by. It actually caused some minor accidents since the drivers were distracted in seeing Will Ferrell dressed in an elf outfit.
The last shot of the movie that was shot was with Buddy leapfrogging and goofing all over New York City. The only people there on the set was Will Ferrell, Director Jon Faveru, and a cameraman. The trio went goofing all over New York City to capture some shots, wrecking havoc and running into real-life pedestrians, including the man in the red whom Buddy mistakes as Santa. 🤣😂🤣😂
(CAMEOS): The two Empire State Building guards who escort Buddy out. The tall guard is Will Ferrell's younger brother, Patrick Ferrell. The director, Jon Faveru, plays the doctor and the voice of Mr. Narwhal. Ming-Ming the elf is played by Peter Billingsley, who is famously Ralphie from the 1983 Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story".
Most of the interior shots (Gimbels, doctor's office, jail cell, mailroom, Walter's apartment and office) were all shot at an abandoned mental hospital in Vancouver.
The scene where Buddy screams as he gets his finger prick. It actually made James Caan (Walter) brake character on set. If you watch the scene, you can see him turn away as he silently chuckles.
James Caan, the famous award-winning "GODFATHER" actor, played Walter. Most of the crew was actually scared working with Caan on set because of his real-life stern and solemn personality which helped make the persona for Buddy's dad. One of his explosive moments included the scene in which he yells at Buddy in the office to get out of his life, which was done in one take after Jon Faveru whispered something into Caan's ear which angrily provoked him.
The idea for the movie came from the screenwriter, David Berenbaum, who was born to a Jewish Philadelphia-native family. Every year, he enjoyed watching Christmas classics and getting into the Christmas spirit. The origins came about when his father passed away during his childhood. This gave him the idea to write a lovable Christmas story in which the character searches for his biological father and ends in a heart-warming reunion that we know of today.
Most of the movie was heavily influenced by another Christmas classic, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" made in 1964 by Rankin/Bass Productions. The director and screenwriter wanted the movie to be a Rankin/Bass type by using its famous stop-motion animation for the three puppets and Leon the Snowman, as well as using the characteristics from "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" for the setting of the North Pole and all the elf costumes.
    Which fact was your favorite?
ELF remains as one of my six, ALL-TIME favorite Christmas classics! We literally watch it every year. :)💕💕❤❤

Lol ya have me cracking up at your movie reactions. Funny thing you talking about escalators. Probably my first memory of an escalator-my dad was trying to reassure me it’s safe. I remember him saying “Ok let’s go” I nod my head, but he went on it as I stayed at the top (going down). My dad realized I’m not on it with him and he’s trying to run up the escalator to get back to me as I’m shaking my head, no! Lol 😂 if only back then we had a camera and AFV, we probably would have won. 😂

Please react to Anchorman 2 it’s so funny please!! I actually tried maple syrup with it and tried it and isn’t bad.
I actually recently went to Georgia and Tennessee and it was snowing and there was ice, we actually had a couple accidents when we went there was a truck that was caught on fire and they had to put salt down on the roads so nobody else would slide and shit, there was black ice on the trees everywhere. My daughter who is 6 now and her father has never seen snow before so me and my family made this trip happened and they saw it for the first time in person.

Basically, Queen Latifah gets diagnosed with a terminal illness and takes the greatest of great vacations to live the last of her life in pure luxury. It’s funny and we love it so if anyone is looking for a new movie to watch go check it out.

My parents did this trick where up until we were around 9-10 years old, Santa always gave the cool presents while the parents gave the clothes and socks. Then they transitioned to where the parents gave the cool gifts and Santa gave the clothes and socks.

I stopped believing In Santa clause when I was about 8 my younger brother and I were snooping for gifts and he found one that said from santa and asked me why.. so I told him that santa drops gifts off early to some parents as he cant make it to everyone's house in one night. He kept believing but I knew from then on.

I live in Indiana and it snows a lot in the winter. When I was a kid, I did snowball fights and they were fun. When I became an adult, my neighbors moved and they rented their house to some missionaries and their kids had never seen snow and so we had a snowball fight too, it was fun that one time, but I wouldn't just seek out a snowball fight now
