It's crazy to think how far we've come, especially with solid state storage. I remember the Memory Stick Duo that I wanted for Christmas was $80 and was only 2GB!

Haha. 2GB??? I remember my first MP3 player being 256MB and that thing was like $200. 😂 It’s crazy for sure and memory is just getting cheaper and more abundant. Thanks for stopping by man!

@@SwitchIntoTurbo 256mb? My first mp3 player had 16mb in the year 2000! It was utter trash.

Thank you guys for watching and hope you enjoyed the video! Bringing this back to life brought back so many memories that I had. It's kind of interesting to see how far portable media devices have come, as they're pretty much phones in today's times. Let me know if you have any questions and/or comments!

You can always just buy a custom iflash adapter to make it look a bit more clean or to have even more upgradeable storage than with this solution

Is it okay if the type of CF adapter is an adapter that only contains micro sd?

Please help. I'm using the same exact tools and adapters as you are, but when I plug it in and try to restore it, it says it's restored but then it says it's corrupted again not even a second later. I'm stuck in this endless loop and I really want you to help me.

I found it better to de-solder the Master / Slave jumper header and solder a wire jumper in.
