    Thanks for the video. Just realized that the shop that redid my trans & exhaust never reinstalled that connecting bracket. I looked in my engine bay a couple days ago and thought it was odd that Honda would put the mount for the V6 in the I4 engine bay but I now realize I was wrong. Great, now I have another project.

    Hey Bullet thanks man. I am in the middle of replacing the same mount. It is really tight in there and hard to get room to work a ratchet with all the hoses in the way. My mount is worse than yours - the rubber is totally split all the way through on one side. I hope to finish it up if we can get some decent weather here in NY. It sucks without a garage man. Peace...out...

      Bullet Solano ok, its done. One tip for everybody. Its real easy to remove the radiator fan 2 bolts on top and it lifts up and out. Saves from cutting up your hands on the sheet metal and get better access to the long bolt.

    Wow, I really appreciate your videos on the Honda Accord :) I've started doing maintenance on mine (it's a 2002 and I've had it 10 years). I changed the power steering cooler pipe, the spark plugs, the air filter and the oil :) Now, I am about to consider changing this Front Motor Mount because it is broken (I was shown it by the garage I took it to) :) Thanks to your video here, I feel confident I can do it.
    But... I don't have a car jack like yours. I have just the regular jack that you use to change the wheels. Do you think that'd be sufficient ?
    Also, I don't have a long extension for the socket, nor do I have a breaker bar !
    Just wondering if I can and should tackle this job, I could buy an extension and the breaker bar, but then I could just pay Honda to do it (I supply the part, they'll fit it for $75).
    Thanks for making these videos, I really appreciate them (from England !)

    I put the middle bolt in first. The top bolts are not flush at the top, but flush with the engine. Should i take it apart and do the center bolt last and the top bolts 1st?

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  Před 6 lety

      If the bracket still have the marks from the bolts put them in the same place because the bracket has room to move but if you watch the entire video you’ll see that i put the bolts in the same place as before

    • @ernesthin1975
      @ernesthin1975 Před 6 lety

      I meant the center bolt on the mount that i put on first, then the top 2 bolts, its tight and flush with the engine. I used after market parts, maybe that's why the bolts not flush to the top 2 bracket bolts. I might just take it apart and go with the top bolts and then the center long motor mount bolts. Thanks for your help, I dont want to drag this conversation and bother u.

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  Před 6 lety +1

      No problem that’s ok I prefer that you ask me as many questions as you want because maybe in the video a forget to put something but yes you have to put the bracket bolts first and then the center bolt after but make sure the engine is resting in the bolts before you torqued down

    • @ernesthin1975
      @ernesthin1975 Před 6 lety

      I tried to jack the engine up but it won't go up any higher so I can't line the bolt bracket up flush on the bolts. Any suggestions. I think I see why I can't get the engine to move up. I have the board on the jacket horizontal instead of vertical like you do. Let me know if that's correct.

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  Před 6 lety

  • @argentino901
    @argentino901 Před 4 lety

    I just changed the front mount and I didn't see any difference for now, this weekend I will change the other 2, thanks for your advice.
    you know, the front mount that I changed didn't have any cracks, it was fine, the only thing I noticed is that the rubber was a little weak and I could move it with my hand, my question is if I should put it back since it doesn't have any cracks and it is a genuine honda part or leave the one I bought from ebay?
    ( I know you dont recommend ebay parts)

    Hey Bullet ! How ya been buddy ? Hope you and your family are doing well ! Do try to stay out of this darn heat , Man that`ll hurt ya iffin ya ain`t careful . Anyways I have a serious problem with my Honda and was hoping you could help me ? What it is , I can`t seem to stop the water leak at the thermostate housings & the water inlet tube at the back of the block . If you have any ideas on how to do this that would be great . What kind of gasket and sealer would you recommend on this ? Also on the rubber o - rings ? Lemme tell ya I`ve spent a bundle on this already and just can`t get it to stop . The only thing I`ve not replaced is the high side fan motor , everything else is all new . Also on my other car , the P T Cruiser I can`t seem to stop it from running hot also like the Honda I`ve replaced all parts there and it still wants to runs hot ! Is there something that i`ve missed maybe ? The fan motor is a new one also and I made sure it was for both the fan and A C . Sometimes it comes on sometimes it won`t ! They are both driving me broke & nuts !!! Again any advice you might have would be great so I may deal with these issues without me jerking out all my hair !! lol . Thanks Buddy and like always great job on all your vids and keep up the great work !!! 🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊

    • @BulletSolano
      @BulletSolano  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Doug how are you, for the Honda you need to put a new o-ring on the inlet tube with some grease to let it sit right to avoid any leaks for the thermostat housing make sure the gasket is new, and for your other car check the resistor for the fans
