Another great tutorial to take away the mystique of rig making. Thank you, Jansen

Drop down pulley rig is one of my favourite rigs great rig for fishing for smooth hounds and rays the way you have made the drop down pulley rig is fantastic explained 🎣🎣🎣
Another one of my favourite rigs is a loop rig I live on the North East Coast and loop rig is a great rig for all species of sea fish and I catch loads of fish on it 🎣🎣🎣

From over in the US, curious why no one seems to use braid for these types of rig?

Monofilament is more user friendly, it seems to work well for rig making

Have never seen the idea behind this rig tbh. Once the lead is set against the tide with a bow in the line, its not going to fish any different from a pulley or a fixed paternoster. Until you get a bite, at which point there's not any resistance to hook the fish unless the fish swims directly downtide?

Couldn’t agree more! Yet it does seem to catch fish and definitely has a following. A real marmite rig if ever there was one.
      Jansen.
