Love these videos, why can’t everyone just get along, it’s a beautiful world we live in and life is way too short to argue and not get on. It cant beat the HP16R because that works with 4xAA, too. Tbh i rather buy a HM65R-DT with that warm white that its awesome at winter plus a medium thrower. BUT we dont do what is best every time. This headlamp is gorgeous and if money aren a problem, its a very nice piece to collect.

Nice review. Looking to upgrade my Fenix HM65R which i've found to be very worth the money as with all Fenix products.

Is it possible to cast like this with 5oz gripper and bait

Just purchased a Fathom II Star Drag Casting Special... Got home, took it out of the box, and inspected it. With the spool engaged and holding the spool stationary with my thumb, I can move the crank handle in reverse about 3 or 4 degrees. This just seems way too sloppy and very disappointing. I'm thinking where the pinion gear mates with the spool drive is where all the slop is

I think I'll stick with the splashdown clip. Very few release failures and simpler.

I like the catfish hook and use them for fish crab or squid baits, but for pennels i like to use chinu hooks for the top hook 🪝
