Hi Great video as with all of your videos, just wondering if you managed to sort your 4 electric cables out on the toilet. I am doing first fix electrics in my van conversion, looked at the C200 Thetford toilet and I am totally confused the manual text does not match the wiring diagrams at all. May have to contact Thetford unless you can explain how you did it?

Looked at the instructions for the C200 series and the colours are different from the 400 series but p18 of the instructions says which colour does what. i wired mine to the same power switch as the pump and effectively followed the 'pressurised water' option as it only gets power when the pump is on as they are both powered from the same source, if that makes sense? hope that helps.

search magnum motorhomes for part number M439 and M440, it will be one of those two you need depending on the toilet.

Hey Mike, why use wet blasting anyway? Indeed we used thin acryl covering the glass and threw them away whenever suited. Using wet sandblasting is sorry to say waste of time because when you activate your substrate it is already corroded te moment you take it out of this little cabine. Just use dry and a bit more expensive aluminium oxide. If you want a somewhat shiny surface use glass beads, also dry. Cheers

Hi, I have found your build series very useful over the last few months. I'm just doing the shower in my Relay and had a couple of questions, what did you use to cut the Saniclad panels? And what are the 4 wires on the toilet for, did you cover this in a later video?

Used a 'rough cut' wood blade in my jigsaw believe or not and it worked great. suggest trying a small corner first before letting rip though. on the toilet, cant remember now but find an instructions PDF online from Thetford, it has a wiring diagram in it.

Thanks, I will have a look at the PDF, also I have subsequently seen other van builders on CZcams cut the panels with a jigsaw but using a fine tooth metal blade, I'll give that a go.

I think I understand now having googled around a bit, the grey and purple are connected to a relay to start an external pump perhaps for domestic use, but given we have installed pumps in our vans which maintain constant water pressure when the van is in use, then we only need to connect the red and black positive and negative leads.

how many sheets did you use on the complete shower cubic

I bought 4 sheets, 1 for each side. I think I could have got it out of three but as they are not really very expensive in the big scheme of things I couldn't be arsed with all the measuring and messing about trying to measure and cut from three sheets. Have actually used all the offcuts for other things since so not wasted in fact, for me anyhoo.

Please can you tell me where the tray came from ? Thank you.

The shower tray, sink unit and above cabinet all came from Magnum Motorhomes. their ref for the tray is M18. hope that helps. Cant remember where the toilet came from now as was a while ago and at the time it was whoever had stock.
