Nothing like walking into the dealership with good credit. With over 800 they just ask what car you want and do you want to put any money down. Of course they will still try to screw you on the price if you let them. Don't settle on the first offer they give you. Also once the first guy gives the price and they take you to sign the papers they will try to sell you every warranty and service they can to fluff up the price. So be aware of that. I always recommend gap coverage, although you can get it from your regular insurance instead of the dealer. The good part about gap is if you sell the car before you pay it off you can get a partial refund of the gap cost from the dealer.
Gracias bro we need people as you helping others!!! 🙏🏻
Thank you very much. You provided great context and excellent transparency. 👍

thanks for the video bro , i’ve always been a truck person but im starting to get more into these muscle cars , i hope i can get as lucky as you with the payments 💰💪
Just shop around and go in the a set plan brother you got this 👍
@Jose Nava Chargers and Challengers are a good place to start for some american muscle cars .....for the price you get damn good performance and these newer models are looking better and better each refresh. New Challenger scat pack widebody with the shaker hood looks damn good. Some pretty cool paint colors as well... Hailraisin, Go Mango, F8 Hunter Green, and Frostbite are my favorites at the moment. Anyway good luck, hope you are able to get your hands on one.
I'm a truck guy and when I bought my ram 2500 a few years ago, I got to demo a hellcat. Fell in love with it. If I was buying though, I would get a widebody scat pack with manual!
Thanks for the video bro, good job on the negotiation.
Thank you,
Thanks for taking time to share details, helps alot
Nice ride. I know it's tempting to just get the Hellcat but if you don't want $1,000 a month car payment the 392 compromises a little bit and performance but doesn't compromise at all and style. Nice choice
That's facts 💯
Great video I have a 2021 scat. The dealer wanted me to finance with them. My advice go to your bank. I got it down to. 2.5% and the dealer said. 4.5. No way. Shop around is the best way to go.

Hey man, thanks for the good info and pep talk on how to get this down properly. Finally where I can buy one fairly easy but having never been rich growing up, 700 seemed high and I know with decent credit I can now expect better
no offense to anyone, but you simply do not start with negotiating the payment. the payment is a function of the PRICE OF THE CAR. so, first, price. then, interest rate. the, how long is the term? dealers have many ways to take advantage of those who start shop by asking about the payment. dealers love that.
And be ready to walk out.
Tell them you are going to look at a Veloster N. 😀😃😄😁😆
100%.
I have never negotiated payment because I know EXACTLY what I need to get the payment I want going in. I know my interest rate, I have financing lined up, I have loan term set in stone, all I need is the execution.
"You get me (X) at (Y) price and I will take care of the rest."
Done.
You want me to finance with you? Go ahead and beat a 2.99% interest rate. Not going to happen in most cases.
Right because they know your eyes is bigger than your wallet
@@fishgutz4272 , lol, yeah. hardball.

For future reference don't ever go into a dealership saying where you want your payment at! You let them negotiate with you first then you work from there! I work for a dealership and believe me they got your ass!
yes. of course! FIRST you need to know what the actual price of the car! THEN the interest rate, and term. ALL THAT that GIVES you the payment!
I use my credit union auto financing. I just bring a certified check to the dealership. No haggling and BS from the dealer.
they will always ask that first too. huge red flag
Tuh, all I do is pay it in cash, Ian wit that monthly payment or financing or car notes.

Definitely. 👊🏿
Now you have to pay off the depreciation of the new car and have another 6 year loan to deal with.
Awesome.
I traded my 2018 scat pack for my 2021 scat pack. Purchase price for my 2018 scat was $35,611. Trade in was $36,700. I made money on it. If you get the right deal there is no depreciation on them. Rolled the $10k into my new one and my payment is wayyyyy lower! And I got 0%\72
@@petermontgomery7323 I can trade my 2018 R/T for about $25K. It's never been doable before, but current market conditions increased the price of used cars 30, 40, and 50%. 2019 and early 2020, the value was about $18K. Now is 25K.
I wouldn't call it "setting up the right deal" so much as it is a market condition (used cars) far exceeding its normal limits.

This video was extremely helpful. I watched the whole thing and I’m going to subscribe. I wish I had you when I bought my current charger. Only one question. Preciate it fam,
When you have dark tint, leather doesn't get so hot.
And... when you spill something on fabric interior it stains and it stinks...not to mention it looks dirty...and cheap.
Cloth sucks, hard to clean and feels cheap AsF! I got full leather in my R/T with a nice 2 tone contrast and tints take care of the heat. Plus these cars come with factory remote start standard so that hot interior complaint is so far in the past its crazy. Just hit the remote start and boom, AC on + seats are cooled/ventilated. I can't stand the leather edges offered as an expensive option on the Scat Pack. This nonsense or cloth only are horrible options and if u want full leather you gotta choose a R/T, Daytona-392/SRT-392 (when they were available) or Hellcat.

Thanks for the informative video. I just got my 2022 Scatpack decently loaded for $950 a month out the door on 2.9% rate, 72 months... and with $0 down. MSRP'd for $57k and some change, then tax and all that jazz, so I don't feel like I did TOO bad. But it's still a massive as hell payment that I hate to see. But these cars are getting harder to find and I plan to keep it for life, so I am overall pretty happy.
2.9???? How’d you get it so low at this point in the economy
@@OneLoud392 If you finance through Chrysler on a 2022 they're doing some pretty good deal right now. My credit score isn't great, but it's not super bad, I think with a 700+ you can get as low as 1.9% apr right now on a new Charger, I'm not at a 700 though so 2.9% was my final apr. Did it on $0 money down too, so it worked out well. Total financed was couple thousand short of $70k once you roll taxes / title / fees / Mopar packages I opted in on. Going to the right dealership makes ALL the difference too, despite what some places tell ya, it is up to the dealership who gets approved and for what, banks only play a small role. I was denied a loan at several other dealerships, found the one I purchased my Charger at and they made no fuss, gave me the 2.9% and I was in my Charger and out the door. Find a dealership worth it's salt and they will make you a hell of a deal. Good luck!
@@damonwolf9105 that’s awesome, I’m probably gonna end up order a 2023 when they come out. Hoping I’m not paying too high MSRP but I did build a wide body scat off the dodge website and I’m thinking I’ll come out to approximately 65. Gonna end up getting myself a co-sign with a very high credit score and see how low I can go. I do plan on going pretty high with the down payment as well but I know for sure the interest rates gonna be a key factor. Do appreciate the knowledge!
This make me feel better about my 750 payment for 48 months on my Acura.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your yearly gross income, round a bout nothing specific
Nice car and yes I did the same thing on a new Mustang GT in 2015... worst decision I ever made at the time and 72 months was the kicker. I should have looked at the total cost of the car after 72 months and not how low my monthly payments would be! Most dealers are predatory and are trained to maximize profit with long term tactics. First came a two year lone, then three, then four, then five, then six, now seven... soon it will be ten and you'll have to pay off the car long after it is worn out and in the bone yard. I bought my first brand new Dodge Challenger in 1973 and it cost me $2442 with tax! ... and I took out a normal at the time two year lone. In 2105, the Mustang GT I purchased with all it's options came to $48,000... I sold my soul to have that car and I knew it was wrong, but it seemed the only way. Common today, a 72 month contract is now the new normal. Every thing now is sold by what the consumer can afford over time, not what it cost to produce. 2000% inflation for a new car since 1973 has everything to do with marketing and profit, and nothing to do with supply and demand, or cost to produce. Having what once took a lifetime to afford is now demanded by the youth of today right out of high school. Hopefully things change and more sensible options regain popularity. Oh If they would only once again produce a bare bones Road Runner with rubber floor mats, radio delete but a big 'Ol Magnum 383 for under $4000... would that be a dream ;)
Never go with 72 months if you can afford it. Just got a 2021 Mustang GT Premium about 2 weeks ago. 60 month 0% financing on any ford vehicle if you qualify for it.
That’s because there are idiots out there financing cars for 6-7 years. These people that buy these cars can’t afford them. They sell them within 2-3 years and eat the depreciation, usually they only lose a couple grand or so.
thank you for this, talked some sense into me
They already have 10 year car loans

From a 27 year old to a 23 year old, don't lease or buy a $40,000 car at your age unless you are pulling in some serious coin.
I would much rather have $400/month extra to contribute towards my Options trading account, rather than putting towards my 2018 Charger R/T.
Then I could make solid trades, more efficiently, with extra capital, and eventually buy a $40,000 car outright.
5 - 6 year loans are stupid. You are young and have no idea what direction life will take you in 3 years, let alone 5 or 6.
Save your money, invest your money, and buy the car outright or with a significant down payment.
Only $14.5K left on my R/T. It's MSRP is $44.5K. I got it for $30K with 6,500 miles on it. Some other poor SOB paid all the depreciation for me. Fully loaded minus the Tech package. I could sell it today for about $25K.
Good thing is I will never be upside-down on the loan.
@@SgtFurby good lookout
Lease it. Negotiate a good end of lease purchase price. If the car market is anything near what it is now at the end of your lease you can sell your purchase option to car max or hundreds of other dealers and make a good chunk of cash just for signing over the option to purchase. Look it up
He’s right. They’re GONNNAAAA do the deal. Whatever it takes. The cars are paid for by the bank, to the dealer, once they leave the dealership and those papers are signed.
Congratulations 🎊
Important to note, wherever they tell you the payment is going to be is an estimate. Until you get into the office with the finance guy you won’t know the actual price with any additions i.e. gap insurance. My credit is above 800 but I didn’t put much down on mine ($1,500). I just got my 2021 Scat Widebody (every option available plus stripes) and my payments are just a hair below $800 per month with 0% interest and full coverage is costing me $82 per month. The payment would've been 100 bucks cheaper but I got the dealer extended warranty out to 100K miles and the "piece of mind" package where the dealer will cover dings, dents, and rim damage. This is my 3rd Charger and my previous two all wound up being struck multiple times while PARKED, so I'm protecting myself this time.
If you have a good used car right now the dealerships are giving top dollars for them because of the car shortage. Problem is you need to have a plan on what car you’re replacing it with. We got a pretty good deal this week.
You are absolutely right
Get an account at a local credit union. Always get pre-approval from there first. Often 2 to 3 points lower than the dealer.
For the dealer down from 5% to 2.6% on one car.
Credit unions beat the banks on interest, account fees, and service.
Thats is right
Also doing the mention you already know what your payment will be at it’s highest. Doing the mention gives you the edge to negotiate cash price for the vehicle. Doing so you can lower your payment be negotiating total price cause you will owe less than the credit union loan. No down payment out of pocket is need using this method..
Solid advice, Also never buy Gap insurance or Extended Warranty by the time you need it it will have expired or the part you need it not covered, they do studies and cover mostly parts that do not wear, Do not buy Dealer Accessories ever overpriced to get you to finance them over 60 months!!
Dude next time go through the fleet department of the dealership. Alot easier. You don't have run to 50 dealerships playing the back and forth game. Every major dealership has one. You can negotiate a price over their cost. Especially if its something that's common. New or used.
Personally i would rather put $500 a month in a appreciating investment all those years instead of a depreciating asset. Payments steal your wealth.

Leasing is the best option, in order to lease a car you need realllly great credit usually, but to purchase a vehicle you can get a loan no matter what your credit is in most cases. Sure you will get hit with a rough interest rate but you still have the ability to own the vehicle. With a lease there’s nothing negotiable when it comes to credit.
I think you did fine. The only thing I would have done was negotiate the sticker price down, add the down payment, finance the rest.
When you lease you are paying off the depreciation. If it's a high payment they are assuming the car is gonna be worth a lot When the term is done. Or the dealer is just screwing you.
That's y I went with financing

@@riontecooper3537 Jesus? Jose's cousin? Course he loves him, they knew each other since they were wee lads. Always fiddling with each other's fiddle down by the playground. Good times.
How u sell it while yall was still paying notes?
@@1hunchoscrilla dealerships have been buying peoples cars since forever. If you have positive equity they pay you that and take possesion of your car and pay your loan off. If you have negative equity then you pay the dealership the difference and they pay off your loan.
@@chasesmith9398 ok ok lace me up cause I'm tryna get out my note w/o fuccin up my credit
I pay 840 for my 2019 Scat challenger. Interest rate 5%. I got it at 6,000 miles. 500 dollars down and I’m financing about 64 months. I’m refinancing through my credit union in a few months though to get lower payment.
P.S. my credit score was 743 at the time of purchase (three months ago)
Damn g 743 and pay 840? Definitely gotta refinance fa sho. I only put 3k down, maybe because you did 64 months tho
That's dayum good!
Bigup Yardie, good content
Respect mi g
Not bad I got screwed on the interest rate with 9% but I'm paying 600 a month for a 2018 scatpack 💪. Going to get a new loan for it after a year. When my credit is better.
9% with a 600 a month is not bad, as I said I've seen 800+ a month
@@UnknownPerson-ol3qr only 3k, would have put more but it didn't make a big difference in my payments
How did you get screwed? Pay your bills on time. You pissed on your own pants. 😆
@@AlienGrade boy😂 I already refinanced it, btw it wasn't from me not paying my bills cuz my credit is good, I got screwed for not going with a credit union 🤦
I’m 16 this is my dream car what do you think I can start doing now to work my way to hopefully one day own a hellcat?

Enroll in the military next year and thank me later
I'm 17 right now, I got a general labour job last year at 16 at a warehouse for a bit. Don't blow your money on useless stuff like weed and keep saving bro. I done wasted too much money kush, wouldn't had another 2k at least 🤦🏾. I'm gonna grab a scat pack next summer
Handsome man nice car man you blessed
A lease with a well negotiated end of lease optional purchase price is your best bet. People whose leases have finished up and had a decent purchase price in this current crazy car market made out like bandits. You can SELL your purchase agreement to other companies and in this case make a SUBSTANTIAL chunk of change just for signing over the option to buy!!!
