- ON THE SECOND EPISODE OF EPIC HORROR THEATRE, we bring you H.P. Lovecraft's classic and titular tale, At The Mountains of Madness! Written in 1931 and finally serialized in 1936, today's horrifying tale follows a team of archaeologists, led by Professor William Dyer from Miskatonic University, as they go to Antarctica and discover secrets about the history of life on Earth that are as mind-boggling as they are terrifying.
This shit is so fucking scary, it'll make you want to take one of the ancient astronaut conspiracy theorists on CZcams, and slap them in the face! You'll understand at the end of the story.
NOTE: My apologies for the delay; I had to go to the hospital last week and have only in the past few days felt better enough to be able to upload anything for Epic Horror Theatre's CZcams channel.
Finally, I found it! To me, it's one of the best radio adaptations of HPL stories. Thanks for the uploading!
This is my favorite audio version of this , thanks for posting

this was amazing ten years ago, still today.
This was fantastically well done. The quality of the voice acting in this is in no exaggeration of professional quality. Excellent production this may be one of the best things Lovecraft related on youtube, incredibly well-done mate cheers!
Great recording
..and the actor who plays Charlie sounds exactly like Donald Sutherland 👌

To what' endever, brought our state' before this rising ascent. This mounting' incline. Mountainous' to lower eyes, under daunting task. Do the weight' of possibility? unattainable' in sights grand' be-falling. Burden' one's imagination. Lost' within confines of solid structure. A hard image, to look upon. As it denotes a reflection, of predestined account. Returned' from past circumstance. And missing' the present chance, to find' a future worth' remembering. And the road, provoking' to engage' it's embark. Where so, did' dreams crash' while waking. Finding reference between' the lines. Etched' in mortal flailing. To achieve' lucid grasp, on a principal longing. Here' have the auflage, of uniformity fell. Icarus's wings' melted, before Copernicus' eyes. Here' did heights cringe'! For name-sake, of Sophia's summit. Great' in-deeds, in-lie' such, in feats' of pernicious. To tread' mighty, on endevers' of ratification.
