I got my Gt and love hump this past week, I think the love hump is pretty dope. It’s extra grippy and great on the setting roam. I want to try the other footpad, high kick.
As far as I know the high kick and love hump are the same footpad minus the hump itself. So I'd say you don't need to bother trying the other at this point. Glad to hear you're having a good time. I don't switch to Roam very often. But I'll have to try.
Thanks for the review on this! Recently ordered one and can't wait. Was worried it would be too steep but seems like you can adjust your foot on the flatter portion. Hoping it helps with foot fatigue mainly but having more control is a huge benefit.
Super wobbly. It throws me off sometimes more than others. I think I've realized that I have to carve slightly differently than I did in the Vega tire but when I do it feels better than ever. I love being able to twirl the board around and carve even at slow speeds.
Beautiful campus; where is that? Also, can you think of a way to simulate what the hump feels like (maybe using a washcloth or something) to see if I'd like the way it feels before buying?
I’m curious … would you consider yourself to have a flat, mid, or high arch in your foot? I’m guessing the love hump would not be comfortable for a flat foot.

The comfort is very very nice and you can adjust your footing really easily to keep things loose and comfy.

Like the love hump, wish it were softer... agreed. My XR has a flight fins "Flight deck." Soft smaller hump. Love it.
I didn't know that was a thing for the XR. I have some flight fins too but I never use them.
What are your thoughts on the new tire profile? I find it to be wobbly compared to the XRs vega tire.

If you carve more you’ll start to embrace the tire. It just doesn’t want to stay directly in the middle

I would say I'm mid. My friend has a very flat foot and he tried it this weekend, he said it was still nicer than a flat footpad.

I've ride the board backwards now and I definitely want a front love hump.
You keep calling your rear deck a “kush nug hi” on a xr and my ocd is being triggered! Nugs were only for pints/pintx
