Thomas said his wrist had been hurting or started since April of 1990 -- well that's when they had that Malice @ The Palace with Mahorn and Laimbeer then Barkley fought Laimbeer and both teams cleared...earlier in that game Thomas hit Mahorn and got kicked out of the game...so that's when, according to Thomas, the pain started...he said in Jan of '91 he just couldn't take the pain anymore...so he needed surgery...so it was a scaphoid injury that was broken -- look that up because it's a very clear and easy read, it'll tell you how that injury occurs and the rehab process -- Thomas came back too early in '91, he was supposed to be out the season and come back in '91-'92 but he came back and kept getting hacked in games which messed up his career. So that's what happened.
