Hi Rory. I agree. I change oil every 10k to 12k km (6k to 7k miles) mainly because of the conditions I travel in mostly. But the recommended intervals are definitely too far apart

Absolutely …….. my off-road enduro bike is oil change after each ride out!!! I stretch it to say 10-15 hours because I’m not racing it. See it ask risk mitigation 🤞😊

Nice update Rory! Thanks. Brendan at 4x4 overlander is also developing a solution for the spare wheel issue. I purchased a aluminium sleeve from Hunters Prestige, however not convinced with it! I think you could pop it with a spoon😂.

Hi Rory, Thanks for the great video and the Stitch & Rivet recommendation, these are exactly what I've been looking for...excellent fitting, non slip, cubby option and perforated to work with the cooled seats. Just had a great chat with Demi and ordered a front set, cubby box cover and x2 duffle bags... all co-ordinated in black with white custom thread (to tie in with my white roof and dash cross beam). Thanks again!

Looks good. Completely agree on the service intervals, definitely ignore those 20k mile intervals and change the oil & filter every 10k miles. The other option for the D rings would be send them off to be galvanised before you fit them. I fitted the official seat covers to a P300, and agree they are very slippery - not just for passengers but also if you have a dog sitting with a harness on the back seat.

6 monthly oil changes even better. I do that even on my 2011 4.4 tdv8 Rangie 😊

Spare wheel. Unbolt it and put it in the boot at airport. Job done.

True I might have to do this but it would be nice not to have to do that 🤔
