2023 06 18 Foxfield Railway Vintage Train

A visit to the Foxfield Railway on 18th June 2023 found their Vintage Train in action, hauled by newly restored 0-4-0ST "Hawarden" on its first public duty. Because the loop line at the Caverswall Road terminus was occupied by coaches, a complicated shunt operation was needed to release "Hawarden" to run round the train. This needed the assistance of Kerr Stuart 0-4-0ST no. 4388 - also recently restored.
